Its a useful bit of gear in the right setting! the first time i tried it was just at a friends house, bass only and didn't really like it! but when you put it in a band situation, it feels great and keeps you locked in nicely with the drummer, aswell as feeling all the subtleties of your own playing right through your feet!

To be honest its mainly to feel the drums! I have both snares and kick drum going through this thing, so when i'm far away from him on bigger stages i get a really good feel of what is going on!

Cheers! It does sound fantastic, will have to dig out a clip where it shows its tone on a live gig situation! Haha! right? Thankfully i have a tech that sets up this beast, the amp i lug around at home on smaller local shows is an Aguilar SL410! lightest cab ever! :-)

  11. Hi Basschat, The reason i purchased this bit of kit was through Janek Gwizdala who highly recommended it on one of his youtube VLOG's, have started filming a few live gigs with it, and the video and sound quality is actually great! Anyone else been using the Hero 5 Session?

  12. Oh cool, yes i believe i've played through the Mooer before, my friend has one, its great.. may have to get one! love the size of it. Thanks Lewis!
  13. If i hadn't just received a new boutique looking 5-string i would be tempted, i grew up around a bass player that had 3 Shukers, and i'd watch him play these basses every week on gigs etc, so i know exactly how incredible they sound! again GLWTS.
  14. I had the LWA1000 for around a year - it was a great little amp! the double input was a really handy feature, aux for quiet practice at home and the fact that it was super light also, cant fault them.
  15. Oh cool! that was a nice festival! was on a flight to L.A a few months ago and it popped up on the Movie section?! was very surprised, but was good to watch back and hear how it came out! who were you playing with? i might of seen you! Yeah he cant hide! he always gets mobbed, haha.
  16. Yeah she was lush! stunning bass, but quite heavy! heres a few clips of how she sounded:
  17. Hi guys - thought i would share this recent photo of my rig - am using a Fender Bassman 800 and 8x10 cab! its very smooth and punchy! anyone else using these or had any experience with them?
  18. My Custom shop Streamer Stage 1, had a few good years with her, but now for sale at the Bass Gallery in Camden! :-)
  19. And the slap tone cuts through also really well!
  20. Loving my Sire V7, its so versatile! :-)
  21. No not at all - I still use the POG for solo's but as an all-round great octave pedal the BOSS OC-2 wins for me, the low octave on the POG doesnt seem to be as tight as the BOSS, its a bit washy, but the high octave is killing obviously :-)
