Been asked about the headphone preamp. This is pure for  headphones; you can plug in a headphone without plugging into an amplifier and use it as a monitor. 

Also a cheap in-ear soluntion. 

The bass itself is passive.

So true, it is an unique custom high-end precision bass.

Just made a correction in the decription. I wrote it has a OBP-3 preamp, but ofcourse that should be the OBP-1 preamp.

And yes, it is original.

Ow wow, I was expecting something lower than 4 kg, but 5.8 kg is quite heavy. Unusual for a Vigier, but must be the walnut body that weighs the most.
