  1. different to the SFT i'd say, i've not used a VT bass but they may be able to cop similar sounds.

i get my vintage when the first batch ships, and if anyone near me has a VT bass and the equipment to record some samples, then we could AB them.

  2. i dont have a whammy V but i have a whammy IV with a few good mods, and some nice blue LEDs?

has all the mods listed here,

also have the molten midi controller, for weird pitch effects!

  3. hey hey!

so the only phaser i currently have is an old ibanez PH-10, it's quite nice but pretty subtle, im looking for something a bit more "in your face" the morphine dream from loud button electronics sounds amazing, but since it's as big as a car, i'm not going anywhere near it!!

i also really like the way the MXr phasers seem to add a bit of distortion to your signal, which help it be a bit more noticeable.

the ibanez has top mounted jacks which is a massive plus, just wondered what else was out there?

  4. So i have a natural body (with pickups etc, no bridge or pickguard) from my old fender jazz 75 RI (japanese made - from like 86 or some time around then, ill check the serial on the neck as soon as i can) - it has a three bolt neck.

the neck went on to my shuker/fender/peavey monster hybrid bass and i was going to stick a fretless neck on this....but ive decided i want a black body with a tortoiseshell guard instead of a natural wood one.

it's got tons of dings and missing bits of laquer and i think it looks awesome that way! so i'd prefer a bashed up body as opposed to a pristine one.

this is japanese made and a bit old, not sure on a trade value?? but something of a similar age/condition would be fine with me, or if you have something worth less (but with a fretless neck?) ill consider that.

    ill attach some photos tonight

  5. im liking it more and more, sounds pretty close to the BC1.

im gonna sell one of my BC1s and get one of these to A/B

stick a different OD in the clean loop (i'm gonna try with a microtubes vintage) and a massive 1KHZ boost in the dirty loop and i bet it'll be a killer bass sound.
