well, ive just taken delivery of my super fifteen, which is essentially two compacts in one box and it's easily the best cab ive ever used, i feel like ive got an 8x10 behind me but with more of everything good, and i can lift it with one hand! FLIPPIN ECK

im getting something exactly the same as this built by max over at [sfx], only my unit has more channels and a few differences, so i'd recommend him, i just blurted all the ideas i wanted into an email and he got right back to me with diagrams etc! super professional.

whats a reasonable price to ask for a red t40 without any pickups? few dings etc, includes hardcase

took delivery of my super15 the other day and WOAH, this thing is light, get to properly crank it tonight so lets see how it sounds

the only problem i have with the pedal is, i know some of the crazy synth sounds i want to replicate, but i dont know what kind of tuning the oscillators would need for it, and this is only a problem because my ears arent good enough!! haha i want some of those crazy harmonised lead synth sounds, cheese mania!

i use my pearce BC-1 preamp for all my 'clean' tones (has a nice valve-style drive on channel 1, and a harsher drive on channel 2) but if i wasnt to use this i'd go for a darkglass b7k, i also used an aguilar tone hammer for a bit and it sounded nice with the AGS switched in, but seemed to overly compress my signal and made all my (intentionally louder) distortions and synths quiet. anything with some nice TS like drive and a 1khz mid boost will get me interested.

also, having never used in ear doodads, where the hell do you plug them in live? haha

im sure i saw someone post on here about some really awesome earplugs that doubled as in ear monitors and standard headphones, anyone remember anything like this (or know anything similar?) really after a pair, nothing mega cheap, but i dont want to have to sell my heart and lungs to fund it.

placed my order on a super 15 the other day, have always been against 15s completely but alex and i traded a few emails and he was really helpful and gave reasons why he recommended the cab, the wait is already annoying though! i hate waiting.

i dunno man, i think jon is awesome and my bass from him is the best thing ive ever played, but i went crazy waiting for my bass as the delivery time got longer and longer.

ive had excellent results using a palmer DI with speaker sim (pdi-09) sounds awesome and makes my distortion pedals sound sexy straight to the desk and i can practice at home with headphones and it sounds like my cab!
