3.
Badness. Could just be a bias adjustment issue, but sounds like something's on the way out. Does it flash (!) in time with your playing? Especially when you're digging in? Pete.
Yeah it does, especially with distortion on
 4. One of my power amp valves has started to flash blue when I'm playing, what's that all about then?

 7. CASTROVALVA (Leeds // Brew Records // http://www.myspace.com/castrovalvamusic ) Driving rock two piece all the way from sunny Leeds. Imagine the bass lead dirge of Death From Above, mixed with the Off-Kilter ticklings of say, Shellacs more straight forward moments and you're on the right track. It's impossible not to mention Lightning Bolt as well, but Castrovalva contain something far more potent in their delivery. Less artistic musings, and more balls to the wall, heads against the floor rock, these guys will bring you to your knees, before crumbling your puny venue to the ground... MT. (Bristol // Motive Sounds Recordings // http://www.myspace.com/lifeandtimesofmt ) There are tonnes of bands that do the whole Mogwai / Do Make Say Think / Explosions In The Sky thing... but these guys do it properly, and make it their own. Gorgeous guitar patterns loop through the reverberent drums, to build up from subtle melodies into crashing, thunderous conclusions. Most bands are about the music their playing. Mt., are also about the intensity of which they're delivering it... A three piece, Mt. are on the near legendary Motive Sounds Recordings and have released and toured enough to make any other band weep. With a live reputation the preceeds them up & down the country, they're certainly not ones to be missed... 2 May 2009 Live at Leeds! @ The Library & Packhorse 3 May 2009 TBC contact [email protected] *5 May 2009 Instore gig at Crash Records 5PM!! 14.
does everyone else pronounce it "wenj" or "wen-ger"/"wen-guh"? I heard it pronounced the second way recently however I always thought it was the first... OT I know, so I apologise- wonderful bass though, hope to see it in the flesh at some point!
ive heard it pronounced all the ways above and "wengay"
 15. yikes, no money at the moment so it'll have to be risked this time round; something to consider for the future though.

 20.
what are those two pedals in top left corner?
they're both cranetortoise DD-1B bass distortions

 22. its currently in the ampeg road case thingy, its super hard wearing all over but is open at the back.
 23. picture of the animato added.
 24. the back of my SVT II (non pro) is open and you can see/touch the valves, im going on tour in march and i was just wondering if there were any ways i can stop any accidents smashing all my valves, i cant afford a flightcase; so im thinking of some sort of home-brewed idea.
