1. I have avoided paypal after being stung for over £350 for a bass, albeit a long time ago but stung nonetheless. Took weeks to get it back after much jumping through hoops to even get paypal to acknowledge I had a problem. I have used bank transfer since for anything more than about £25 and I appreciate those who haven't ripped me off. At least bank transfer has a trail to a bank account with an address and a camera shot of the account holder and info about direct debits etc so when its looked into they have a person to look for.
2. I've tried VMT and B3k and tech21 sansamp bd. Of the three id buy the programmable sansamp bass driver. The flexibility of saving settings was a massive advantage for me. Each person will have an opinion on this, but whilst Im currently using a behringer bd121 to see how it fares I'd recommend the tech 21 over darkglass if I was shopping again.
3. Why would you sell something like this when someone like myself (not flush at all) would metaphorically give a right arm to even have a play on it. Have a free bump too. GLWTS
4. These are awesome basses. Ive got a five string version in the stable , albeit the later neck through version but still a grind bass. Looks and sounds like a much more expensive bass than the price suggests. This is a bargain. have a bump . . .
5. Anyone tried one of these ? Are they as easy to stop falling off as they look ?
6.
Seriously, dude ... Have a bump on me, bassman344.
Cheers. B u m p
7.
Please, make clear this is no American made G&L JB2 in the headline. I am selling a real G&L JB here in Sweden and get stupid questions why mine is so expensive compared to "another one on BassChat"...
This is a new one. I don't think I'm misleading anybody here my friend and I don't think I need to change my ad. The picture of the headstock saying clearly "tribute series" has been posted since the beginning of the thread and I'd respectfully suggest that the problems you are having are neither mine nor your own fault but more to do with less learned people in the world of bass knowledge. In addition to this I have said also in the ad it is akin to a MIM Fender, again anyone who knows a MIM bass should know it is not of the same spec as an American made. Might I respectfully suggest you ask your tormentors to read up on their facts and as thunderbird eloquently says, please don't blame me for their stupidity. Good luck with your sale and have a good day dude.....
8. That is absolutely gorgeous I love these basses. Have a bump for this bit of dingwall
9. This is a gorgeous looking bass. I'd love one of these but I'm trying to shift a G+L jazz. Have a free bump.
10. Don't beat yourself up if you make a hash and certainly don't be the guy in the video in the earlier post. Each crash and burn bass line is a reason to plug in and play more. Nobody is perfect and unless you are playing for long spells in the totally wrong key, the only person who will really notice the odd bum note is you, (or some smart ass unhelpful guitar player).
11. I found that having realistic expectations of progress was a helpful thing. Realise that it takes time and it's different for each person. You may never be as accomplished as you want to be but don't give up.
12.
That's a Jb2 tribute. They are fantastic basses. I have the 3ts with maple board and is my favourite at the moment. GLWTS.
whoops. I typed jb4 bass, now fixed. I hate ipad keyboards
