Congrats @Reggaebass, it looks fantastic, and I bet it sounds it too. I'm a Yammy fan by luck really. My first proper bass, after some ply, no-name SG thing, was a mint green Attitude Special. I didn't know who Billy Sheehan was, or care, I just loved the look of it. I learnt and gigged on that for a couple of years then traded it in for a brand new black BBG5S. I gigged that bass for around ten years as my only bass. Then went back to fours. I only sold it last year. Presently my only Yamaha is my tobacco burst BEX4, which is superb. Every time I play a Yamaha it's like coming home. Enjoy your new Yam. 🙂👍

I've recently got into Ultravox. I knew three or four of the big hits but never really looked any further, despite liking the ones I knew. I was working in the garden a couple of weeks ago and did the "Alexa, play Ultravox", it was on for about three hours and I really enjoyed it. I like that there is punk/new wave roots blended with the 'modern' synth sounds. As an aside I can now see where Glasvegas got there inspiration.

I wasn't sure if it was laminated or if the owner had masked and stained stripes on it. The edges do look a too neat for staining though.

Well I'm not quite sure what to make of this, and neither was the bloke with a plywood bass, some random wood stains and a box full of furnishing studs.

I had entered a bid I was comfortable with and was having that inner struggle whether to hit confirm. A mix of 'I don't need it', 'I've ordered a Jack Casady' and 'I think Reggaebass is after this' stopped me. Someone's got a bargain.
