Similarly there's a certain bass in The Bass Gallery I have absolutely fallen for, but it's way overpriced. Stupidly I don't even want to highlight it here in case someone does buy it. The bank card is at the ready and I'm about to start drinking. 😁

This stuff is great. Really tuff but flexible and doesn't get sticky on the edges. I've got through many a gig on superglue or this tape. The tape sounds more natural when playing though.

Since that post I've actually gone full circle and have bought a Yamaha Attitude Ltd 2. It's an absolutey monstrous beast of a bass in every respect. I bought it, not for the Billy Sheehan link, but because I love Yamaha basses, they sound amazing, and it came up at a very good price ten minutes from home. I am not disappointed. 🙂👍

I first thought (and hoped) it must be a hoax but sadly not. A fabulous drummer who could easily play what the drummer in Dave Grohl wanted and had the personality to match the frontman in DG, the perfect counterpart. Such a large part of the infectious energy of Foo Fighters. Terribly sad 😔.

At least you forgot your ears were hurting for a bit while they burnt your retinas away with the strobes in Overkill.

While on my occasional browse for an Aerodyne P this appeared. Aerodyne?? If I was after a quiet pickup'd, crazy actioned, t-shirt tearing neckplated, orange peely painted with a wonky hand drawn binding bass that weighed a ton, then I'd be all over this. Unfortunately I was after an Aerodyne P. At least the seller knows how to sell it.

Mediocre would be suitable. 😉
