2. Just to say that Huntsta (Stu) is a great guy to deal with, have just bought one of his old basses from him and it was a pleasure to do business with him. Very communicative, easy to get hold of and very approachable. Buy with confidence....thanks Stu for a great bass, she will be well looked after! All the best, Mike

12.
Wow Mike. An intriguing design. How's it tuned? Any info you can share on this? Phil
Just a standard Kubicki ExFactor, standard tuning, bought second hand nine years ago but was built in August 88 so is an original Kubicki before the licencing deal with Fender came into play. Bought by someones dad who kitted both sons out with top notch instruments that promptly got left in the cases under the stairs. I was more than happy to give it a good home. Sounds a bit different to my coral pink Fender Kubicki which is why I didn't mind turning the coral pink one into a fretless. Mike
13.
The best sounding Rumour without a doubt was the blue Rumour that got killed on the Mika tour. Literally offcuts of wood glued together and painted up (hence why he'll never sell it) - yet for some reason, it just sings... well, it did... until it got killed on the Mika tour. That'll be because of this then......
14. How about this......
15. Still trades only Ryan? Mike
16. If you decide to sell this, let me know. Cheers, Mike
17. I've had my coral pink one for nearly 20 years, Elites always worked fine but for the last 13 years, the Picatos I use on everything have worked perfectly well in both of my Kubickis. Cutting the string excess can be a little hit and miss at first but once you get the lengths right, it's easy enough to cut strings using the old string as a guide. Enjoy! Mike
18. Absolutely, give me a shout when you've got time, let me just get past the 'dregs of summer' gigs and I should have a bit of spare time. Mike
19. Don't ask Nick Smith whatever you do!!!!
20. Totally off topic.... Gary, you have no idea what an influence you were on me as a 14 year old taking up bass at school, sat in the audience at a House Music Competition and saying to my dad " that's what I want to do for a living..." ....... and as he constantly reminds me "I need to have a word with him, it's all his fault!" Only joking! Just happy to have caught up with you after the 'wilderness' years. Mike
21. Hi Tony, Do you still have the Neo 4x10 for sale? PM-ed. Cheers, Mike
22. Circuit is the same in both but can be tailored to how you want it so sound. Pickup placement is upto you, I had the neck pickup on my Rumour 4 put closer to the neck compared to standard and I also had the body made about an inch wider the whole way round, was never of fan of the very slim body horns which was a feature back in the early Noughties. You need to try both body shapes and see what works for you but they are customisable to your requirements to a certain point. Neck dimensions again are upto you. Enjoy the process! Mike
