1. what the hake are you guys going on about??
2. Hi Rich, do you have the weight and model year? That is a beautiful looking bass
3. Really sorry, begging your forgiveness sir I did not try the B amp in the end but I did compare the cn410 to the hd410 though... And the HD absolutely kills, fat and punchy compared to the CN which sounded great but no where near as muscular. I actually decided to stick with my Vanderkleys, they are deeper, punchier, warmer and have red baffles
4. I am going to try one through a cn410 later today😎 Can't wait!!
5. I heard on Talkbass that there were some failures on the earlier generation Pumas but the current model is a very safe bet

11. One Levys's MSS2-4 black leather strap for sale. Excellent condition approx 12 months old. Ideal for heavy basses as it is 4 1/2 inches wide. The Leather is very high quality and the padding is very thick! Collect from Leicester or I can post for £2.00 Thanks for looking
12. He should rise above it
13. Sounds like a case of extreme cabin pressure to me
14. Count me in, I have never been to one of these before I have a couple of Nordy's 2 Vanderkley 112mnt's and a Puma 900 that I can bring if there is room.
15. I don't like your altitude
16. Great cab good luck with the sale😎
17. This forum desperately needs a like feature
18. Apparently they're out of tuna
19. Those 210mnt's are so cool! I would have loved to have brought my Puma 900 and 112mnt's for comparison but the distance was just too far.
20. Now that looks a fun evening, can't wait to hear the feedback
21.
No worries Karl The way you both go through gear they'll all be on the market again in a few weeks...
Lol lol lol!
22.
As an Electronics Engineer, I am a firm believer that you should only claim what you can measure although Chis is not alone in his assertions. However surely such a sarcastic, narky, character assassination is unwarranted.
Sarcastic yes, bit of a dig for fun yes, differences of opinion probably, character assassination absolutely not. There is no place for character assassinations anywhere in this forum. If any offence was taken by Chris then I wholeheartedly apologise.
23.
I had the pleasure to play with a BB2 as well as with a Vanderkley EXT112 (among EBS, Aguilar and Tecamp) in a test I performed for 12" bass cabs for a Greek music forum. Both were excellent cabs in their own way and clearly, for my taste, the best two of the bunch. It would not be easy to choose between the two but if I was hard pressed, I would probably lean towards the Vanderkley (which I have to admit that I purchased). That does not mean that the BB2 was by any means inferior (though being a pre-production model had some minor quality issues that I am sure that have been fixed by now) compared to its Dutch counterpart. My feeling (and I emphatically repeat, for my taste and needs) was that the EXT had a better overall balance for (small) live /studio / home practice use whereas the BB2 sometimes felt to me as being a bit “too much”. There were (of course, being in the south-east part of Mediterranean) some steamy arguments about both cabs (as well as for the others but to a lesser extend) and which one was the best. One thing I can say though, is I can easily live with either of them with the confidence that both of them are excellent cabs backed up by very prompt, friendly and courteous support from their manufacturers Marc and Alex. I would like to thank them both for the experience they provided me with. Here is a jam with the BB2 https://www.youtube....h?v=cW3NCWz5zEo And here is one with the Vanderkley https://www.youtube....h?v=rMbWrns0CRw
Nice videos, you have a really nice workable tone in both jams, is there a reason why you did not give the 112MNT a go rather than the EXT?
24. That is a ridiculous price for a very nice bass, shows how slow the market is at the moment.
25. Too much back line volume kills the FOH sound, I use IEM's where possible... No more volume issues👍 I wonder whether in the future back line might become a thing of the past
