1. Last day on bass chat, grab a bargain while you can.... Feel free to pm me reasonable offers The worst that can happen is that I say no
 2. Final bump before its off to Warwick for a trade in
 3.
Mark is a great guy and he will always have bass gear available that is worth listening to trying out, but please don't try to say Alex will sell you a cab "for the sake of it". He will advise appropriately based on the information you give and at the end of the day you have a 1 month trail so nothing gets sold "for the sake of it".
2+2 does not equal 5 be careful putting words in people's mouths..... I was merely commenting on Marks integrity and did not mention Alex or his products. I was merely offering another avenue for the op to investigate. Having never spoken to Alex it would be wrong to voice such an opinion especially in a public domain. you fanboys sure are sensitive
 4.
You will if the 212 is a Barefaced cab. I'd email Alex and put your questions to him. He'll explain it better than we can, make better recommendations and he won't sell you something that won't work.
I would actually speak to Mark Stickley at Bass Direct instead. He can talk you through a lot more options and won't try and sell you something for the sake of it. Great guy great customer service top quality products!
 5.
Oh im hearing my sound fine with the GK 4x12 setup. Im just worried going back to a 2x12, I might not, hence the speaker dispersion question in the OP. IMO the 1001RB doesnt have precise enough control over the bass or lower mids to tailor it to some venues. Even with the 50hz cut, some venues just resonate certain frequencies too much and the "boom" is hard to get rid of resulting in either thin sound when I cut the bass or just big boomy bass. Ive read in forums that the Neo212 cabs have a significant dip at 600hz too and you cant eq that back with the 1001RB (im planning on changing amps too). I use Gamma pads for hollow stages and play in the corner when I can, yes, very helpful info I learnt years ago from this forum. But many thanks for offering your advice IanA.
It sounds like you have already expired the troubles shooting list😀 I just hoped we could find you an foc solution. I was actually going to recommend not playing in a corner where possible...
 6. Maybe you are just pushing it into overdrive and there is nothing wrong with cab
 7.
Yeah I kind of have a on going back problem myself, even though the Neo212s are 25kg, the shape of them means I am constantly turning them in hand to get through doorways which is not ideal for my back. Putting them down, rotating them and lifting them up again is too much hassle
That will probably be the case with any tall or wide cab, I even feel it to some degree twisting my CN212 into the boot of my car. Modular is probably your best solution to sort out that issue or a trolley(no good for upstairs gigs)
 8. In what way are you currently not hearing your sound accurately, changing a cab will no doubt change your sound but I am not sure that spending money on gear is the answer. GK gear is renowned for cutting through the mix extremely well and is used to great effect by many players, how do you eq you bass and amp? Do you play on hollow stages without a gramma pad? Do you often play in corners of rooms? If you can experiment with what you have you may save yourself some ££££
 9.
I am in Bangor, North Wales, so We would both need to make a 5 hour round trip
Could meet 1/2 way in an evening maybe? Google says just over 3 hrs either way
 10.
Has to be. And given that in the SE Bass Bash the CN212 was the runaway winner as the fave (a selction which included Schroeder, Markbass, Barefaced to name but a few) this is a steal.
Thanks for the big up. The CN212 really is an amazing cab, great sound and amazing build quality.
 11.
it is a shame that Leicester is so far from me.
Where abouts are you? I am happy to meet part way, obviously if you are at lands end it might be a problem lol!
 12.
I knew this would happen! Spent ages waiting for one which never appeared, so I buy a Vanderkley 212, and lo and behold, a couple of weeks after this comes up. Just my luck! Oh well. My loss is somebody elses gain! GLWTS pal.
Vanderkley 212 is totally kick ass, great sound and great quality. Hope it works for you
 13. Another smooth transaction with Rich, just bought a Vanderkley 112mnt from him. Item as described and great price. Makes a change for me to be buying from you this time Rich! Many thanks for meeting up with me in Melton, it is always a pleasure to see you. Ian
 14. Copy of purchase receipt added from Bass Direct Feb 2015 Lots of interest so far but no takers....
 15. Thanks for the comments guys. It really is an amazing cab, probably the best one cab solution out there (for sensible volumes)
 16. Hi Rich Might be interested in this Do you know how old the cab is and are you the original owner?
 17. Nice cabs, I remember trying some at Bass Direct and they kicked ass big time. I might have taken them off you had you been interested in trades other than the mnt version Glwts
 18. CN212 for sale with Bergantino padded cover in great condition, weighs only 20kgs, 700 watts @4 ohms. Tone to die for.... Well almost anyway There is some superficial marking to the Tolex on the back of the cab from my trolley, there is also some scuffing on the bottom of the cab as would be expected. I have used this cab live many times at very sensible volumes, it is working perfectly and has been well cared for. Based in Leicester and must be collected or I can meet part way I am the original owner, purchased from Bass Direct. Only trade would be for a Vanderkley 112mnt 600 watt or 210mnt
 19.
Nice cab at what seems like a good price for a Berg... ! GLWTS
This cab is everything that a 4x10 should be, brutally loud, punchy and crystal clear. They sound great with a good micro but cry out for a big old school power section😎
 20.
I've been using one for few months now. It's easily loud enough for a rehearsal with a loud rock drummer. Good deep tight bass, not at all honky. Also it's really easy to transport around on a trolly. It is not as good as the pair of 112s it replaced but its always a trade off with size vs power. I'm more than happy with it but I'd want another if gigging without PA support.
Nice, what amp are you using with it?
 21. I would be interested in trying one but would probably never buy one as the CN212 is only slightly heavier and not much more money. It comfortably covers any gig that I play from quiet to loud with tone that is just incredible, it really is the best one cab solution for all but those who play at Sensible volume levels.
 22.
Awesome cabs these - in the recent SE Bass Bash Cab Shootout the CN212 was the runaway winner (and was up against Barefaced/Schroeder/Markbass etc, so good competition). Bargain at this price.
Surely not😂
