I have 2 AE112 light weight Bergs and i find they lack something which i cant quite put my finger on. Depth possible when driven.
I also have a Berg HT322 which is far more solid feel to the tone.
AE's great for handling and rehearsals but HT322 delivers at gigs altho its pretty damned heavy.
Like the sound of what people say about Barefaced cabs tho with regards retaining the low end at higher volumes
I'm currently looking at other options ie 2x10 cabs as i just like 10" speakers which always seem to have a more mid-range punch that i like.
Still trying to make my mind up tho
GAS bloody GAS.

The AE112 is the least desirable of all Jims cabs, HD and CN cabs are a revelation in comparison!
1 set of Sunbeams 45-125 with additional 130 B string.
Came off of my Lull PJ5 35" scale.
Were used for around 1 month before being removed so plenty of life left in them!

It is and, did many awesome gigs with it

You must have pampered it because when I got it there was not a mark on it!
I did buy it from Bass Direct, probably around 1 yr ago.
He has had several Lull PJ5's in this finish on his website over the last few years, if you look through the sold basses section you can view them there.

What length is it? They used to do Short, Medium, Long, and X-Long.

It is a long.... Thanks for the prompt😀
Up for sale is a set of hardly used Lo Rider nickel strings 45-125 that have come off of my Lull PJ5.
The bass is 35" scale and had about 3 wraps on each tuning peg in a 4 up/1 down configuration.
These are up for sale as I realised that my preference is for Sunbeams
Asking price is £22 posted to a UK address
