1. Just sold Doug a Mega bass strap, great communication, fast payment, many thanks.
2. I am selling my Neotech Mega Bass strap, it is 2 weeks old and in great condition. I bought it to compare to my comfort strapp and after 2 weeks have come to the conclusion that it offers a very similar level of comfort so an sticking with my old strap! These are £35 plus postage from bass gear, am happy to accept £25.00 posted to a uk address
3. Beautiful instrument and just how I would spec out a a century, I am getting an itch for Roscoe, would have to let one of my nordys go to buy this though, decisions decisions! Have a bump
4.
Hope I do. If the Streamliner was available through Thomann I would probably order both, compare and keep the preferred amp. Any idea what Bassdirect are like with returns?. What cab did you use to compare the TH 500 and Streamliner ? Thanks
Th500 through berg HD212, streamliner through bergs, Vanderkleys and baers, streamliner sucked big time through the ceramic loaded bergs, way too much low end!
5. Thoman are great you will have no issues with returns as long as you return the amp, instructions and packaging in as new condition. I have used them several times and have never been disappointed. Hope you like the amp and don't have to return it though
6.
Thanks! I was impressed with the Streamliner too, but the Shuttle suited my tastes better.
The 9.2 is a class act and is an improvement over the already wonderful 9.0, given a different cab to my current ml112 I could be equally as happy with the shuttle as I am now with the streamliner. Genz amps are great, something there for everyone I think and as for Mark Vanderkley - great cab builder for sure, beautifully finished product and tone for days!
7.
Thanks for all the replies. I am swinging towards the Tone Hammer at this stage, as I can put it through its paces for 30 days with the option of full refund once purchased from Thomann, so nothing to loose ( would much rather put money into the local economy, but the choice of bass gear around here is extremely limited ). Lots of love for the Streamliner on here to, but as Genz Benz are no more,I am hesitant to pull the trigger on one.
To try them side by side at bass direct is quite revealing, to pick them up and to operate them is also a useful comparison. Without wishing to cause any offence I thought the TH500 felt less well made and was certainly not as fat as the Streamliner, bear in mind I went there too buy the TH500 after Ken Jung recommended it to me! There is obviously personal taste to consider here
8. Nice rig, that would sound glorious with a streamliner 900
9.
On the other hand, I found the Streamliner sounded much better than the Terror heads I tried - no floors wiped this end!
+1 amazing head
10.
With those 2 on your list you should also consider the Orange Terror 500 or 1000. Some say they're a 1 trick pony, but it's a brilliant trick! Blew the Streamliner I tried out of the water in every way imho. Never tried a th500 unfortunately.
It is just different sounding and louder, a big minus for me with the Orange was the DI, not great quality and set permanently post eq, sounded thin through the p/a compared to other heads that I have used live, all IMHO of course
11. Shuttle is tight and bright streamliner is big fat old school tube tone with a very sweet treble. Both great but depends on the cab you pair it with.... Streamliner can be fussy on cab matches.
12. Make sure you play a Warwick before you buy, 17mm string spacing is tight and can be difficult, nicely put together though. Personally I would save up and spend a bit more. Lakland skylines are a decent buy second hand along with sandbergs but they can be heavy.
13. All down to taste but Vanderkley and Berg Cn are great with that amp, my personal favourite though is the Baer ml112. 1 cab covers most if my gigs, 2 is just amazing! Perfect match for the streamliner IMHO of course.
14. I play through big p/a all the time and always go pre, I use the eq on my amp to mix my cab, the engineers then get a raw untouched signal to mix at the desk. Even when using DI and a mic I still run the same, remember the eq for foh will more often than not be different to what you need for your cab.

Just bought a Gigskinz bag from Martin, fair price, excellent packaging. Quick dispatch, excellent communication. Thanks Martin
16. Bump for those with a bad back.....
17. I am selling my Rock n Roller upright trolley as I have recently downsized my rig. It is a great little trolley that is solidly built and folds up really small, great for moving a 212 or 410 cab around. Does show show some slight signs of wear but nothing significant. Purchased from Thoman last year, looking for 20.00 collected from Leicester or can meet up part way, could post but cost would probably be quite high. Looking for £20.00
18. For sale/trade is a Shuttle 9.2 with foot switch, mint condition and comes with instructions and box. Have changed my cab and am looking for streamliner 900 or TH500 to match up. Happy to trade or sell The amp is based in Leicester if you want to collect or I can meet you part way. Postage is possible at extra cost. Looking for £475.00 to a uk buyer, pm me if you are interested. Ian
19. Just traded my AE212 for Nicks Baer ML112, great guy to deal with, cab totally as described and great comms. Thanks Nick
20. Some initial interest, am really wanting the Baer but would consider a Berg 112 or Vanderkley 112 as well
21. As new used once Fischer Amps wired in ear body pack, as new condition with carry case. Awesome quality, powered by a 9 volt battery or mains adapter, I bought it for an album launch where in ears were a must and it worked amazingly well This unit gives much better sound quality than cheap wireless systems. Requires an xlr connection (I have a spare lead of needed) Bought new for £149 from Thoman, selling for £100 plus postage. Pics to follow shortly
22. For sale Berg AE212, rated 600 watts @ 4ohm, weighs 25 kg and comes with padded Berg cover. Condition is really good, a couple if little nicks but nothing significant. Low end is full but not boomy, mids are smooth, and highs are hifi and sweet. Would consider trade for Baer Ml112 or £600 cash, can meet part way, cab is in Leicester
23.
Mmmm, I'm seeing a, Cilla Black hosted, tearful reunion in the not too distant future. Give me a few weeks to get all of the post Christmas stuff out of the way and we'll sort out getting together for some loudness.
Nice
24.
It's your HD212 that I bought from Richardd
I really loved that cab it was actually the 2nd hd212 that I have owned, having sold the original one because of its weight. I missed the tone so I bought a second! Powered it with a shuttle 9.0 and it was smokin! Would be interested to hear how it sounds with my shuttle 9.2!
