1.
Sorry if I'm being thick, but...2 of what to match the output of what ? I think you're saying you need 2 of the Aggie drivers to match the output of the 3012, but if you could clarify...?
The main driver in the ML cabs is a high excursion pa quality driver, it offers a far greater level of performance compared to a standard bass driver. A single ML112 will equal if not out perform a good 210. I can cover gigs with a single ML112 that would not have been possible with a single Berg 112. I am really looking forward to Roger sending the Valkyrie over, thought my GAS was cured, guess not!
 2. Dude you gotta be crazy selling that bass, I still have the magazine article featuring this bass. It must be just about the best jazz 5 ever made with an amazing one off paint job. I bet it would cost £3500 to replace at today's prices. Keep it and save the tears!
 3. Aguilar amplification coming into stock at Bass Direct real soon, bet your RH is still worth good money as a p/ex..... Or even a straight sale on this forum.
 4.
thanks for the bumps, lads always appreciated. Just curious lana which cab you have?
I have 2x Baer ML112 powered by a Staccato 51 Your cab should sell, it is rated by many as the best 2x10 ever made.
 5. Great cab, sometimes wish I still had mine! Have a bump sir
 6.
Does anyone know the cost?
The 212 will probably be around £950 ish
 7. Baer ML112 either one or two
 8. The HD cabs are imho the best sounding cabs I have played through, I would still have my HD212 if it were lighter. I do sometimes think a pair of HD112's would have been a better solution. The neo's will not sound as forceful from what Ken is describing.
I love my Berg HD112 But a light 2x12 would be lovely!
9. Got an email fro Mark last night, should be here around June, they have got to be good to dethrone my ML112's which are just ridiculous for volume, depth, tone, weight etc. But Jim is the daddy when it comes to cabs!
 10.
Did he by any chance say whether these two changes happened at the same time, as in: "if you find JJs, then the DI is sorted"? Sorry I didn't ask, he did say they change their tube suppliers from time to time but didn't relate that to the DI. If you need info it is worth calling them. I just got the phone number out of the handbook. I got put straight through and the guy I spoke to was really helpful and.happy to chat. Ian best, bert
11. I spoke to an angineer at Orange who was really helpful. He explained that the hot DI issue has been sorted, they are also now fitting JJ tubes as standard. I could not tell a great deal of difference in volume between my shuttle 9.0 and the Terror 500. I think in the Bass gear magazine power test the burst rating was double the output rating, that might explain the huge volume. Apparently the 1000 is fearsome!
If I didn't have an AD200b, I would have a Bass Terror. They are, for the size/price/weight, fantastic amps. The wattage ratings are quite conservative. The 500 is a very very VERY loud amp.# I have also heard the latest models have a better DI.
12. Pretty much my experience, shame really I fell in love with the tone through the ML112's
Even with a 40db attenuator mine sounded horrid through DI but wonderful through the cab. All my gigs are DI these days so it had to go which was a real shame. Never got past 3 on the volume on a non DI gig. It was certainly loud.
13.
It doesn't suck other than that it is too loud - but you can fix that with a £5 XLR attenuator!
Mine was a later amp that had been modified so no attenuation required. I am comparing the DI to genz Benz and tc heads that I use and in comparison to my ears and to those listening it was weeker, the engineer I spoke to at orange told me it was also preset and fixed to post eq Please don't hear me wrong, I am not Orange bashing, I love the tone of their amps, however to my ears compared to other amps I own the DI was not as good.
 14. I did part with it in the end, great cab as are all Bergs, currently have 2 Baer ML112.
Thanks Ian! Hope you're stil enjoying the AE410 All the best, Steve
15. Steve is a great guy, I bought his AE410 off him. These cabs are some of the best 12s ever made! Ian
 16. The DI sucks so bad on the Terror, through a good cab I thought the amp sounded great though and very loud. Now sold as I need a good DI out.
 17. Bergantino HD212 gets my vote
 18.
Maybe a shuttle 6.0 ?
Hi, thanks for your interest. The 6.0 would not be what I am looking for. I want the 9.2 for its rower and depth, also the higher gain input stage. I have owned a 9.0 which was incredible, just want that bit more!
 19. Are the bergs the later revoiced versions with 2 sets of feet?
