    What do you make of the neck pickup? I'd like it for slap and fingerstyle funk with roundwounds to begin with until I can afford a good MIA/MIJ jazz, then revert to flats and get a good reggae tone. Or am I asking far too much for a £100 bass? looking forward to the video....

    Anyone know what these are? At the nut end the colour of the end of the strings are Red G, Yellow D, Blue A (I don't have the E) at the tailpiece end black with gold/yellow spirals... Thought they were helicore hybrids or something but the colours at the tailpiece don't match up....
