Hi Im selling the second bass i ever owned a truly great Traben Array Obsession. it is a really great bass with a thin fast neck and big sound. i have the 4 string model with the maple body and is one good looking bass. it has rockfield pickups with a 3 band active eq which provides a tone different from a lot of other bass i have heard but a good different. to the bad points it is not in the best of condition a fair amount of surface damage and as you can see in the pictures the bridge coating is peeling but it all works perfectly and any damage or marks are purely visual. it is becoming quite a rare bass as i have not see one for sale for a very long time and when i bought it a quite a few years back it had already been discontinued. because of this I have put the price at around £250 but make me an offer. as i said this was my second bass and it was a great one but it would also make a really great first bass for anyone starting up. postage is available but at and extra cost, local pickup in sutton Coldfield or Birmingham but can also drive small distances to meet in the west Midlands. i also drive to and from warwick three days a week. Im also pretty open to trades im looking for a barefaced Midget T ,old tokai basses or a genzbenz streamliner and uber cabs which i can supplement the cash in but pretty open to anything really. Hi Guys I have a 5 string squier vintage modified jazz bass i was looking to jazz it up a bit it terms of looks by adding a bridge and pickup cover as well as a new tortoise shell scratch plate, ive been looking around i cannot find any 5 string bridge covers any were the closest i got was this on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CHROME-JAZZ-TYPE-BRIDGE-PICKUP-COVER-PLATE-VINTAGE-BASS-GUITAR-JB-STYLE-NEW-/161143434708?pt=UK_Guitar_Accessories&hash=item2584e5add4 but i am unsure as to wether this would fit? Also looking for scratch plates i did find some 5 string ones but yet again had no idea if the screw holes would be in the correct place or it would fit over the pickups any one got any ideas? cheers Perry

Roland rock put it very, well I played around with both of them in the shop the streamliner is more of a vintage type tone, where as the shuttle is a lot more modern and flat sound. Hopefully about be buying a shuttlemax 12.2 very soon I was very impressed with that!

I have a napalm looper dot sale if you interested I know you said something about making one but worth a try!

I have both the Zoom B3 and the Line 6 m5 both are great in there own way. I would say all round the B3 is definitely better but the synths and particularly the octave on the line 6 m5 are pretty good a lot better than the b3.

Ok thanks guys, I'm still trying to get my head round the amp fully
-
Well I've tried that but I alway tend to put it back on because I don't like the sound with it off
-
i tend to leave the eq flat and have the vpf around 12

Ive just recently started to mess around have started playing my roscoe bass through my Rokit 8 monitors just at low volume to practise and i really like the tone that they are giving me easily beating my ebs classic line 1x12 cabs i have! when playing through my ebs cabs to my ears it seems muffled and i cant find a nice clear crisp tone that i can with the Rokit's. strange question I was wondering are there any cabs out there that may be similar to the Rokit 8's could replace my ebs cabs and to work with my little mark ii head? cheers Perry
