  1. Reason for sale is buying my first house. I therefore need the money more than another guitar at this time. ADDING SOME TRADE IDEAS - STINGRAY 5 STRING, DINGWALL 5 STRING - CASH PREFERRED AND I CANNOT ADD ANY CASH SO MUST BE EQUAL OR LESSER VALUE. Bought last year from a guy in Germany who had owned since new. Bass is in great condition, there is one small dent in the top side of the neck near the 3rd fret marker (photo in folder), cannot find any other marks. Sale includes a hardcase as pictured with keys. Bass will come with the chrome strap pins it came with, not the straplock pins in the photo. There is a small brush hair under the finish in the back of the neck, in certain light this looks like a dent but the finish is fully intact and smooth, you can just about see the black line in one of the photo, mentioning for full transparency as will all of my sales. Bass is located in Sheffield and you are welcome to come and try it out if you are in the area. I will be in London for a weekend in April so could bring with if required. Spec from the Sandberg site can be found here - Sandberg website I can ship but will but will need to price up based on location. Will ship within EU at buyers expense or you can provide shipping labels and collect with your preferred shipper. Link to photos on Dropbox here - Photo Album . Sorry photos are not the best. I can try and upload more if requested, bit cold and snowy to go outside and try to get some today. Feedback thread - didn't realise i don't have a sig any more. Feedback
  2. Man how on earth is this so cheap. This is one hell of a bass for the money.
  3. It was a Warwick community design, not actually direct by Warwick, but however, it still is an awesome bass. GLWTS.
  4. A few more images were added to facebook so updated first post. Lots to drool over.
  5. Yup. It is my dream bass pretty much. I even posted it in the dream bass thread last week. From their other posts it looks like Dingwall have got an entire other workshop being set up to work on the combustion line basses to try and speed up production. Seems to be a successful area. Glad this is going to be one of those lines rather than just the special order ones. That would be considerably outside of my price range.
  6. Not seen this mentioned on here but looks like a production version of the Dingwall D-brid will be coming out in a four stringer later this month, this will be a combustion/NG2 version and also an NG3 is in the works. The comments on Instagram also mentioned that a with a 5 string to come later in the year. Will try and link the photos below. post on their Instagram and Facebook if you want more details. edited with lots more photos NG3 NG3 6 stringer NG3 Darkglass edition D-bird combustion - one off colours D-bird combustion - production colours new LTD voodoo bass New Leland sklar colour
  7. Any chance you can let us know where this is located?
  8. Dingwall D'bird 5 string.... but they don't make one.
  9. Uh oh. I didn't need to know that.... I really didn't need to know that... edit: okay it is £7000 that will stop me gassing too hard for one. https://www.thomann.de/gb/ibanez_thundercat_6_string_bass.htm?glp=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAs9zSBRC5ARIsAFMtUXFtutCK_TGGZivj7N68Ehbb-UH75J1dL8TLAMs8bq3Swqr72jczKJ0aAnhuEALw_wcB
  10. I don't need another bass, I don't play 4 strings.... but I want it.
  11. Been running this amp into a TKS 2x12 for almost 2 years. Great amp and great volume too. sure you will enjoy it.
  12. £450 for a German Wariwck. I cannot get how these are going so cheaply these days, I have two Corvette FNA Jazzman, this pick up config is immensely versatile and having had John Shuker defret one of my basses and refinish I can confirm his work is all of the highest quality. Great bass at a great price.
  13. That really is a beautiful bass. A five string version might be my dream bass. Whats the USB cable in the user kit for? Battery charging?
  14. Might look into the VT pedal. I bought the amp before the darkglass M900 was available and have always been tempted. A secondhand pedal might be the route to go down for now I'm thinking. Not going to be gigging much or recording so I have a little time to play. Might just get a VT and a B3K to play side by side, see which tone works best. The flexibility of the M900 does have massive appeal. Just turn up and plug in the amp.
  15. Posting this in pedals rather than amps I think you guys are the more knowledgeable on Darkglass. So my Tech 21 VT500 amp was playing up and was sent back to Thomann under warranty. They have decided to refund me, it was bought in August 2015 so I really cant complain. It was a great amp but the issue with it now makes me wary to get another one to be in the same situaton 18months down the line. So I now need to decide what to do next. I have been using my Ashdown MAG 300 and its doing a fine job with the big TKS cab, really suprised by the volume is it kicking out, but, I miss having a proper distortion option. So do people rate the head unit that much over having just a B7K. Trying to work out if the head is worth 4x as much, I will still be running a pedal board just for tuner and boost pedal so adding another pedal to the current set up isn't an issue. Anyone using an Ashdown with a B3K/B7K? Anyone made the jump from pedals to the amp?
  16. Looking great. Had a similar job done the an FNA Jazzman I got in a trade. I am sure the final result will be great.
  17. 11-12 years for the fretted vette. Not letting that one go. Actually technically had my stag starter bass for more like 14-15 but not played that for more than 10 minutes in the last 10 years soo don't know if that counts.
  18. Got any more photos of the gothic please?
  19. Yeah, if this doesn't work for you and you want to be really kind, I will look after it for you, I wont even charge you for it.
  20. Only on my first compared to some of the addicts round here but its a fantastic bass. Quality is up there with much more expensive Warwicks and the like. They are very well made, finished, tuners, bridge, all highest quality. In love with the forty eight shape too being a lover of thunderbirds but not being a fan of IV strings it has been the perfect machine for me.
  21. I have one bass that can do most things (Corvette FNA Jazzman 5er) but that one is the one I fall back on when needed. Generally I find myself using the last one in the door. Currently the Sandberg is the one coming to practice every week. If I needed the money or just had to cut down the Crovette would stay and the fretless and Sandberg would go without hesitation. I cannot ever sell the Vette.
  22. When they make a 5 string D-bird. I'm gonna be in trouble.
  23. Thanks Johnny. Very useful.
  24. Anyone got a really good song with a wah in to show it in the mix?
