This groovy Celinder is SOLD...
-
Ahhhhrrrghh...
-
Yup, it has that classic J bass 'tack' at the front of the note like no one's business. Very good bass. And light... did I mention light?
-
And here's a Sunday bump for my Celinder...
Part ex trades encouraged - decent precisions, 80s and Classic Stingrays, Spector Euro LX basses
Cheers, N -
New part ex trade options up now...
-
Totally epic cab and a great price (I have one)...
-
I'm a sunbeams player (which unfortunately aren't available for such a low price) but when I've needed steels the Hi-Beams are the best I've ever had on a bass.
-
V good deal. Single set for about 17 quid inc postage and cheap enough to avoid the customs charge.
-
All that effort to shift a fake fender for 400 quid. Ptftftftft
-
Yes - smells funny. The mention of a dad who passed away, no gigs, suggestions that it's a closet classic etc he left out the bit about it 'only being used in church' aha ha ha
Logo is very suspicious, looks like a cheap parts bass that he's trying to pass as vintage. -
Here's my Celinder J Classic in Lake Placid Blue with matching headstock in good condition from 2001 on the block for £2150.
This is Christian Celinder's version of the perfect 1962 jazz. It's a fabulous instrument that is light (9lbs on my scale) and well balanced. Neck is fantastic and it sounds punchy and warm as befits a 62 style J.
Here's a vid with me playing 'The Chicken' straight into logic through a MOTU Traveller, no frills.

Yes he's amazing. Brings pyrotechnics and soul together with an 'anything can happen' vibe. Great player. And Mononeon is fantastic...
-
Great basses - demo'd here at volume by Mickey from Supergrass

Sorry (withdrawn again)

As a HUGE Prince and the Revolution fan (the bassist, Brownmark is a great unsung bass hero who used a Spoiler to great effect), always wanted one of these. Bump...
-
I'll add my vote to say get a Stingray Classic fiver - they sound amazing and look fab. Beautifully built too...

Happy days when the big name pop acts of the time were allowed to write their own songs, record them playing the instruments themselves and not wholly relying on Autotune.

Yup, and making a living wage (or indeed a packet) out of the process. Not a common occurrence nowadays... -
