1. Withdrawn...
2. Sunday shopping bump with a youtube vid of this road worn jazz bass. It's a really nice jazz bass to play, and I've played a few...sounds punchy and full with bonkers sustain...it's great https://www.youtube....eature=youtu.be
3. And a bump for my RW J... Buy mine AND Richard's and choose them for the gig according to mood or trouser colour...
4. Much like London buses, Fender Road Worns can't be found for love nor money then three turn up at once Bump for this lovely example down in the Southeast for those who want a handover in London/Kent or Sussex...
5. SOLD For sale only, no trades thanks...at a very attractive 650 QUID VID HERE https://www.youtube....eature=youtu.be Only selling to help fund the purchase of another instrument, on the block is my fiesta red Fender Road Worn Jazz from 2012. 8.5lbs in weight, perfectly balanced, and a really fabulous example of this brilliant line of basses. Action set nice and low, this is a good one with a resonant body and lots of heft in the tone. It is also notable for having the longest sustain I've ever found in a J bass in a long history of playing jazz basses. Condition wise it has the rudimentary relic job of the RW range but is pretty much as new with faint fret wear etc. It's a good one but I have to release funds for a purchase... Ideally I would like to meet up in Sussex, Kent, London or around the M25 as it comes with a Fender soft case...and meeting up is always preferable! Pics here.... 6. Apologies - seem to have double posted
7. I'd be in there if I didn't have my Classic. For me, the neck profile on the late 80s Ray's is so much more playable than the 90s onwards...not to mention the weight! Have a bump...
8. The finishing of the US DJ4 I tried was extremely good and the quality of fretwork/ neck shaping were otherworldly really. I've tried Skyline DJs and not enjoyed them that much. It was interesting...The JO I tried a while back was a v nice bass in the vein of 'a bit better than a US Fender' whereas the US DJ4 was top flight.
9. Yup - I tried a very nice JO skyline years ago that was very high quality. But I played a US DJ4 recently that was just outrageously good. Really, quite ridiculously good
10. Yup - I'm slightly obsessing over US Laklands right now and there aren't many around! N
11. 10lbs for an Alembic is pretty featherweight I think!

14. Yup - I've had three of these and was having a veeeery close look at this one til it got put on hold...Phew! Great basses...
15. Start of week bump for this great Yamaha with an added, tantalising ONO added in the title
16. Very rare footage though - there's not a lot of this type of stuff. I am a total Jaco nut...it's good to see something new
17. Yup, I had seen a few, very rough pics and vids of him playing a Jaydee (usually in a totally chaotic environment) but it's strange seeing an orthodox, Jaco clinic with the Jaydee. Looks odd on him to my eye!
18. Forgive me if this has been posted before. The Musicians Institute has unearthed an old clinic given by Jaco around the mid eighties complete with demos and some extreme muso jamming (Gambale in full shred mode with original hair ). Weirdest thing about it is that Jaco is playing a fretted JAYDEE... Anyway here it is for the Jaco completists! 19. Weekend bump for this very, very nice sixer...
20. Perfect 5 string. Such great basses
21. Price drop and weekend bump for this very nice first generation Patitucci signature!
22. Mid week bump for this really fabulous six string. Exquisitely crafted, tip top Yamaha Patitucci sig bass...If you want a six string bass it's either this or a Ken Smith in my humble opinion...and we know which one is cheaper! Sounds great. Really chunky across the board and no shrill C string issues! Here's a nice demo of this particular model... 23. Argh my psychedelic spelle check clearly has the pox... ...a triv point about the Dukes is that Radiohead got Leckie in on the basis of the Dukes albums, not just the obvious stuff...awesome band...
24. Colin Moulding is a fantastic bass guitarist...I love XTC...and don't forget Dukes of Stratosphere!
