  1. I've recently picked up a non export JB62-US. After about 9 jazzes passing through my hands (including a Roadworn, three AVRIs, a Nash and even a Celinder) the MIJ Fender J impresses me most. These are great basses...
  2. Argh I really wanted to go this year but missed it. New puppy was too much of a distraction! Next year!!!
  3. Ah I had an early soloist that I picked up from Paul's house in St Leonards around 2005. Like you I moved it on as I wasn't using it enough to justify such a nice bass. Lovely things!
  4. Yup. Not tricky. A famously chunky sounding cab with all that Baltic birch.
  5. I mainly used this with my LMII. Sounded fantastic
  6. 20kgs/45lbs I gather. Not a tricky lift in my experience.
  7. Ungigged Aguilar DB112. Used for home practice only and in pretty much as new condition. Not used at anything over bedroom volume. Wonderful cab with all the low mid woomf you could ever need. In tasty Choc Thunder livery no less.... Pickup only or meet in the middle. Aaaaand PICS
  8. I run hot and cold on shipping and have thankfully never had a major issue....but there's nothing like 'Saturday, 2PM at Clackett Lane Services' for everyone's peace of mind...
  9. Very nice! (but, of course, the price is nonsense)
  10. Yup, I've played that Nathan East BB. Amazing instrument!
  11. I once very nearly bought Victor's old Pensa-Suhr that he sold to Lloyd Cole. Now THAT was one that got away!
  12. Sorted!
  13. As someone who had just reduced something to 95 quid I had a Kafka-eque moment there!
  14. Old school prices for an old school head! happy to let someone take this away for a song.
  15. Good lord. Gawjus
  16. I guess the question is whether one is allowed to run ads in both spaces? Quite happy to delete this one?
  17. Here's my barely used Fylde Orsino up for sale. Ungigged and ding free. From 2004 it's a simple but lovely thing with mahogany back/sides/neck, red cedar top and rosewood board. Zero fret etc. Classic British folk guitar. Pickup only and no trades. Happy to consider offers of course PICS!
  18. Bump for possible trade for a nice old sampler, preferably something a bit dusty and 12 bit from the 80s? Akai S900/950/ EMAX I?
  19. Up for sale is my Roland R8 Drum Machine plus original manual. This is a MkI in great nick. Sounds fab and grooves heavily for some arcane reason! Can ship no probs
  20. I had one of these in red. Light as a feather and a very comfy sixer.
  21. Up for sale is my awesome 'Blue Marvin' 2600. Just moving it to make space for another piece of gear. These 2600 clones are FANTASTIC. Here's a little ditty made up entirely from 2600 perc/arp/bass noises. Alles ARP 2600 02_05_21.wav Also, if you're up for a trade for an older (especially 12 bit) akai, I 'm all ears And pics!
