I don't really know Ampeg and I'm sure you've considered it... But, 7 Pro? Is that a smaller lighter version?

On the colour, I had a shell pink P bass a few years ago. I had more interest and positive comments from punters on that bass that every other bass I've owned combined! People love a pink bass!

One of the drummers I work with regularly now isn't flash at all, but is so solid with a great groove. He has a musical brain and ear to contribute to the song. I choose him for gigs over others that are probably technically more profiecient but aren't as switched on to the band.

Never played one, but it is unique! Love the colours too.

In 2002, probably The Police, my dad is a big fan and we always had great music playing at home. Thinking about it though, not a lot has changed. Of my absolute favourites, I reckon about 5 or 6 or my top ten are the same now as they were then.

Nice, I wanted a Sterling once and ended up with a Stingray 4 as it was a great price. It was probably one of the nicest, easy to play basses I've owned. I only sold it as it presented a chance to sell for a profit but I'd love a 5 string at some point.

Yeah they're great. Probably the best value for money basses out there. The five I had produced a really solid low B too.

Just had a look at the Facebook page. They are beautiful instruments. Nice to see another builder that is truly passionate about building the best without compromise. It'd be nice if magnetic cavity cover were more common too! A cheaper line would be very cool if they could compete with the 2-2.5k market it would be interesting.

3x10s don't sit well with me, from an OCD perspective. Unless I had two of them of course...

Celinder, AC, Stenbeck and the like are probably all out of reach and not too common second hand. Lull, Sadowsky and Xotic are all where I would look.

Cool. I've only seen the YouTube vids but they look like fantastic basses. The Paul Turner one is great, what a day that must have been! Out of interests sake, what would one cost you or me?

Sadowsky J5 > Tecamp Puma > Vanderkley 212MNT. Soon to be adding a new amp, probably a Glockenklang at this point. Super clean, powerful and a solid bass for whatever gig I'm on.

I had one and used it with a 102p. It did it's job brilliantly and really helped me and my bandmates to hear my bass. But, it's a pain't that your amp can't really sit on your cab with it; unless you knock some sort of shelf thing up to secure it. Also; it is expensive for what is probably a fivers worth of material.

The MONO looks great and not many people have anything negative to say. The thing that puts me off is the few cases of nitro finished necks being stained by their Headlock (I think that's what they call it) system. I'm surprised Fusion have the F1 for £100 because it has long been discontinued, unless they found some old stock in the factory. I had its replacement, the Urban, and everything about it was brilliant. Shouldn't have sold it and will likely get another at some point.

It is what it is. I wouldn't listen to it either, just as I don't listen to classical or death metal. But, fair play to a man that has made a hugely successful career playing bass. Seems stupid to ask questions of him. I don't know his music at all, other than seeing a YouTube video of him playing a Stevie tune. But, i did see a snippet of a Scott Divine video the other day where VW was saying that he loves to just groove but doesn't really get the offers as people know him as a soloist.

Both on full kits? I can't imagine it sounding anything other than horrendous.
