  1. I love big chunky necks! I’m probably alone on this one, but those Skinny 38mm necks are too small. Maybe because I mostly play DB.
  2. Thanks. I don’t know how to edit that, it’s the original value of the add. I put it in the title, though.
  3. New price 1000€, I have my eye on a bass for sale in the forum. Thank you.
  4. Thank you. Maybe I will. Please send me your e-mail in private message, I prefer to deal with you.
  5. Not the case. I am a polite and honest person. I am so polite that I laughed it off and ate the cost. Even did the soldering with a friend and we had a good time doing that over a few beers. I like the bass. I still have it. I can’t sell it without telling about the Mariana Trench in the neck pocket and that scares the buyers away. Because I wouldn’t in good conscience do that to anyone.
  6. Hello all. Is 1975 admissible? This one is turning 50 this year. Here is my 1975 Olympic White Precision:
  7. I have mixed feelings about this store. I did business with them a few times. Before Brexit. Trade basses and bought another ones. The last purchase I did didn’t go well. The bass I bought had frets almost down to the fretboard, had to change them. Electronics were buzzing, had to re-solder. And the neck pocket had a huge gap that wasn’t visible in the photos. Also the bridge was misaligned. Had to buy new bridge rails to make align a little better with the pickups. I sent them an e-mail raising all these questions. The answer was, “a little fretwear is normal, but it’s still playable”. They ignored all the other issues. So yeah, you can get a good treatment, but you also can be left hanging. Beware.
  8. I have my eye on a bass here, so I am letting this one go for 1200 euros. Thank you.
  9. Hello. It gives a different sound. When the 2 pickups are together, the sound is fuller and beefier. The kloppmann is a beast. Very aggressive with the tone full up. The MEC is a pickup that I really like, it gives the tone consistent with that neck position, but more clear and without the mud that sometimes you get on that position.
  10. NEW Price: 1000 euros. Shipping: 50 euros. Hello, For Sale: Spector NS Pulse II 6-String - Like New! I bought this bass in January 2025 and have been very happy with it , but now I want to upgrade to a Spector Euro 6 or maybe a USA. - Condition: mint. - Weight: Only 4.6 kg, very comfortable. - Playability: pretty much straight neck allows for low action with no fret buzz. - Sound: very good sounding and versatile EMGs with bass and treble preamp. https://www.spectorbass.com/product/ns-pulse-ii-6/ One of the tuners seems misaligned, but it was loose from the shipping. I just had to put it in the correct position and tune the string.

  12. I will ship the bass no problem.
  13. That is a good question. I really don’t know, but I will post it later, when I go home. Thank you.
  14. Serek Midwestern. Great condition, minor chips due to the very thin paint Jake applies on his basses. Pickup is Guild Bisonic. Currently with flats, but it goes with rounds hi-beam on the bag. The sound samples are with the rounds and it sounds awesome with them. Goes with a great Gator bag. Price is firm. Thank you. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CqumKZXMqlB/?igsh=aXB6dzFzYW9ibHIw https://youtu.be/TuJRc_OqsvE?si=y7erSCYlGRAcs97i https://youtu.be/0In-gAU8Eao?si=AJo2XlYGSDDAySUz https://youtu.be/G41tlH-E-Zo?feature=shared

  15. Real price is 1500. Made a mistake on the smartphone. Not 1800, it is 1500. No need to say much about this bass. Like new, only did rehearsals with it. Very rare. Goes woth the bag and the paperwork. I am very reluctant to sell this bass, because it’s one of my favorites. But I am selling half of my collection. Price is firm. I’m selling more basses, so if this one remains for last, I will keep it. Thank you.
  16. Me too. Tried to find some on YouTube, no luck.
  17. What's the scale length and string spacing? What's the weight? Do you have sound samples? Thank you.
  18. New Price, 2000 POUNDS, plus 50€ split shipping.
  19. Yes, but I was talking about the Rick 3001. The Midwestern looks exactly like it. And even more similar to the Newport, like it was said before.
  20. Thanks for the information, I thought it was the Rick. Nice to know. And yes, it's a stupendous bass.
  21. The model that inspired Jake Serek to do the Midwestern is the Rickenbacker 3001. The waiting time for these basses is now over a year, he's becoming more and more in demand, and the basses are incrising in value. But I want to buy a new DB, so this one has to go.
  22. According to the kitchen scale, it is approximately 4.180kg, which is 9.2 pounds. I don't know if this is a good weight, or not. It's the first time I weight a bass.
  23. HI Wouter, sorry I didn't answer before, I'll have to weight the bass, I don't know. 45mm at the nut. 32". When you pickup the bass, you feel the weight majorly in the back of the body. This makes the bass balance in an optimal way, both seating down, or standing.
