Hi, Thanks for the reply's. I'll be careful about new drivers in my Laney. It might be better to buy a different cab? I like a challenge though, Iv'e built my own hi fi speakers with good results using eminence b102 10 inch drivers. Are the barefaced cabs any good for rockier stuff? Hi, New to the forum, Based in Manchester, currently auditioning/looking for new band. Currently have a nice custom bass. Zebrano and Paduke through neck with swap ash body, hand made pups, Alnico magnets and rosewood covers. Problem is average amplification. Hartke HA 2500 head with Laney 4 x 10 cab. Ideally would want a Valve head, Fender Bassman, the Laney is about to be moddified with Eminence drivers. Cheers, Carl.
