1. Go on... Buy my Hondo. It's really rather nice. BUMP!
2. Also, in response to the OP, through some sort of TC electronic magic, the BH500 can run two of the BC410 cabs at one, or up to three BC210 or BC212 cabs. I really really want to run three BC212s at once.
3.
In hindsight the 410 would have been a better option, think it's the same size as the 212 so no difference in terms of ease of transport etc.
The BC212 is the same size as the BC210. The BC410 (W x H x D 594 x 662 x 426) is a bit wider and deeper than the BC212 (W x H x D 462 x 662 x 380). When I bough my BH500 + 2x BC212 stack, I somehow managed to get the second BC212 for free. Think that offer is long gone now though.
4. I love this bassline, and which I had the plectrum chops to play it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58IM48-EU9E

6. Jazzes are clearly for the more intelligent, discerning type of individual.
7. I would suggest trying both the TC cabinets (if you still have both) in the horizontal position (2 x 2 speaker arrangement). I have 2 BC212 cabs, and find that the sound is much bassier and beefier in the horizontal layout. I don't know the science behind why, I just know that that is what happens.
8. Have you seen the isolated bass tracks on youtube? Won't Get Fooled Again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80dsyo2Ox-0 Baba O'Riley: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Lf10U0yZrs
9. Check this out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7g6NygXdYtQ
10. I live 5 minutes from the Apex, I keep meaning to go in and see some of the stuff in there, it seems like they have some really interesting and varied acts in there. Seems like you did well considering lack of classical experience!
11. Monday morning price drop bump!
12. Just by way of comparison, this is my lot from last night.
13. Black t-shirt and jeans is the only way in my main band. Anything else looks completely out of place. Iron Maiden t-shirts highly preferable. With the sleeves cut off. I have stick thin upper arms so i keep my sleeves attached. Lead guitarist ALWAYS takes off his top when playing though, so I guess that is his image. I did do this a couple of times for a laugh...
14. BUMP for actual pictures!

16.
I am indeed, I've been looking at this on and off since it was posted. But I'd rather not go through all the hoops importing from Japan. Even with free shipping, add import duty and other taxes and it becomes more than I would like to pay. But thanks for flagging it up!
Sound like you know more about the importing than I do. Do you know what sort of sum would the taxes add up to?
17. Look!!! http://basschat.co.uk/topic/229735-back-on-sale-peavey-foundation-bass-made-in-the-usa-white-with-rosewood-fretboard/
18. I recognise that P pup!
19. We could throw suggestions at you all day, but your best bet by far is to browse the for sale section and see what you like the look of. There is such a lot of thoroughly nice kit in there, you could go in with a £250 or £200 budget and still come away with a beauty.
