1. AKG D5 Microphone, looks like this, great condition, comes with the pouch for storage, £35 posted. NOW SOLD.
2. A few more pictures here: https://goo.gl/photo...ZZSWyb3Q2VQQVR8 Price: £120 - NOW SOLD She's a little bit tatty (got mojo?). However, the bass has a new wiring loom and brass shielding (both from John KiOgon), and a custom scratch plate made by Tim from Scratch-It! (see pics at the link above for a better shot of the texture). I'll also include the original white scratch plate in the sale. Tuners have been replaced with some second hand Squier units, because the previous ones were bent. There are a couple of the old holes visible on the back of the headstock. It gets buzzy up the dusty end. It could do with a fret level job done on it, and I just haven't got round to getting it to someone to do it for me (I don't have the skills or the tools myself...) Collection from Thetford, Norfolk, or Newmarket, Suffolk preferably. Although, I don't mind driving up to an hour to meet (as far as Huntingdon, Harlow, Colchester, Ipswich or Norwich) to meet if you buy me a coffee.
3. Hammered Dulcimer, anyone?
4. I'd be voting for option 2, if it were my bass
5. I suppose that putting the cambers up at the neck end of the body will help, too?
6. Gooooorgeous. I used to have one of these, brilliant price for what is a fantastic vintage bass.
7. Brilliant! Nice one Andy
8. Just a quick chip in to say that I love watching your work as ever Andy!
9. Flippin luvverly
10. Amazed that no one has mentioned Sex on Sodding Fire yet....

12. I have one of these as my main gigging bass. They're brilliant, total bargain here!
13. Not sure what I can say that hasn't been said many times over! But I have to repeat that John is fantastic, and very patient and helpful. He put me together a Volume / Blend / Tone kit for my Jazz bass, and put up with me when I managed to be an idiot and couldn't get it working, through my own stupidity. Would happily deal with John again, I think this may well be my fourth or fifth kit from him! Cheers!
14. Surely that will mean fighting other people for a go on the sexiest basses?
15. The drummer story is pretty unbelievable! You'd never know! That's great. Similar to Dave Grohl's story of learning by bashing pillows with drum sticks. Sounds awesome, not really the sort of music I tend to listen to, although I love MFATGG and enjoy NOFX.
16. Flippin 'eck. I don't think I've ever seen so many basses in one location. Basschat Road Trip was one of my first thoughts looking through the pics too.
17. Slow songs are such an atmosphere killer. just bash them in the face with some cheese.
18. Could be that they only have single units of each?
19. I've always wanted one of these. Not in that colour though...
20. The amount of variations in these customs is incredible! I bet he's chuffed to bits that WoT had such a good experience with his custom last year...
