1. I like this version: Quite like David Gilmour's bass solo.
2.
I've voted black as I am feeling the 'black on black' love at the moment with my 'Deacon' bass - however - the mirror guard is a great idea! OR - as recently posted on BC - get a clear guard and place a photograph underneath it! Then you can change the guard to whatever you want as your mood suits. I think it looked brilliant!! - But I can't remember WHO posted it or where it was!! I was thinking of something like a photograph of a circuit board, or a picture of a piece of curly maple?? Something a bit different!
You were thinking of this: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=83877
3. What are you looking for trade wise?

5. I'm 20, and the highest I can hear is 15khz. My hearing is shagged (had a hole in my left ear drum for years). Possible that it's due to the laptop's sound card though, tried it through headphones though and got the same. I should probably get my hearing tested.
6.
I saw this at the 2008 Music Live show in Manchester
This is effectively all I had to work with when I broke the D string four songs into the first set a couple of weeks ago, I had no back up bass so spent the rest of the set thinking like crazy to make do without (shifting lots of things 5 frets up the neck). IT was actually alot of fun. I wonder where i can get one of those from....
7.
The OBC wont be as light as the compact, without a doubt. BUT, I did test the two side by side when Alex sent Compacts out for the baschatters to try out. Only briefly though. It was certainly a LOT lighter, but the sizes were similar. I wouldnt say one was louder than the other...very similar. Not only that, the Orange, as per the Tom Bowlus 1x15 shootout, has a really nice high end despite the facts its a 1x15 and has no horn.
Has anyone tried the terror bass with the OBC 410? Or do you guys think it would be best with the 15?
8. Wazoo, does tilting the 2x10 combo back affect the way the sound goes round the room? Or does it just make it louder for people standing next to it? Thanks!
9.
my friends selling me one of these for super cheap. was just wondering what people thought of them. im gonna be running it with a warwick pro tube 4
I've highlighted the key words for you. If it's no good for you, you can just sell it
10. Just been watching on the old iPlayer. All at once it's making me wish i got the singer/frontman/bassist job when our singer left about 2 weeks ago, and it's making me really crave being famous
11. Why bother? are you playing Wembley? The 500W by all accounts is massively loud, what will you gain from having the 1000W?
12. They're pretty essential in some songs for speed and fluidity. Off the top of my head Flea uses them in Under The Bridge (near the end) and Californication.
13. I played one of these in a shop and was thoroughly disgusted by it. The main problem being that the pickups do not line up with the strings! the rear pickup is to thin to get the G string!
14. Is wite a custom colour?
15. Those strings look miles apart
16. Come on Craig, i sold you a lovely amp. You owe me one
17. Dibs on this please!
18.
Great 'soundclips' on this German review. I have no idea what the review says but the clips are some of the best examples out there. 19. Mystery solved: It's a Peavey Patriot. I still want one though.
20. at 44 seconds? and where can i get one?
21. My vote is for Black. Definitely.
22. It is pretty easy to remove a head from a combo, most of the time there are four screws on the top, but there may be four screws at the front and back. Regarding housing it in a new casing, find out what U size the amp is (probably 2U) and get a case like this for it to go in: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=30611
23.
I have no idea why nobody makes amps with two knobs... input gain and master volume. That and one of those Precisions with only a volume knob... perfect!!
Like a bass version of this then? http://www.bonnersmusic.co.uk/buy/Epiphone..._Amplifier_Head
24.
Already in the For Sale section and on checking street prices I think your right, so have decided to include the amp as well.... for a little more.
£110?
