1.
It's a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, 1.2 GHz Quad Core
Any good for metal??
 2.
I'm a terrible bass player, musician and person so I never even try to learn most bass lines! I much prefer making stuff up on the fly so I learn the chords (roughly) and then just throw in the odd riff reminiscent of the original to keep the rest of the band off my back
You're not the bass player I saw a few years ago doing a walking bass line to Rocking All Over the World by the Quo are you??

 5.
In my Floyd tribute band, we were playing the whole of Dark Side. I got some funny looks when I kicked off side 2 when the rest of the band were only halfway through side 1. Ah well, time is money....
BRILLIANT!!!
 6. This thread is better than counting Sheep, it's really hit the wall!

 9. Mavericks....Dance the night Away......dead easy to play, but again the constant repetition makes it a nightmare!!
 10. BUMP! Have some free dates this year, would be good to pick some extra work up, mid to end June plus odd other dates.
 11. Unchain my Heart-Joe Cocker!!!
 12. In Eastbourne later until Saturday and wondering if there's anything on at all, prefer rock/pop/soul covers type thing, hopefully not far from the pier so I can have a beer or ten! TIA!
 13. Saw Nathan East using the Ditto at his bass clinic in Guildford last week, most excellent!!!
 14. Fantastic night! What a player and what fascinating stories to tell!
 15. I think there were some others on here that were going, I briefly saw Hamster supping a pint in the foyer!!! And strangely ended up sitting next to two guys that knew me from my band!!!
 16. Great night with Nathan showing his stuff last night. Run by Andertons with TC and Yamaha he demoed some of the gear and kept us enthralled with stories of his career. A smashing bloke and a fantastic player, so grounded considering the stars he's worked with.
 17. So as per my picture I stack my 2x10 on top of my 2x12 end on, as I have no PA support I'm cranked up to project out to the massed throngs in the Dog and Dinnerplate most weekends so of course get quite an earful of myself when playing a tight area. I'm going to experiment laying them side on side at the next gig. How do you stack yours? And how does it sound?
 18.
Living Next Door to Alice. Ouch! I feel your pain
Oh no, you lived next door to her as well??? Nightmare!!

 22.
Supposing he breaks your toilet?
Has he put on weight??
 23.
I wouldn't be able to do it these days Blue. It would mean retirement from gigging for me. I had to rest up all day yesterday to recover from a 2 hour 30 min gig on Saturday night
^^^^ This!!!!
 24. Batteries in basses?
 25.
We played a rather flat gig this evening, in a pub we have played before where there is very little interaction with the audience as the bands are placed in what is basically a passage way between the bar and the loos. It's a big pub and there were plenty of people there, but very few can be seen from the stage. It was also very hot, I had to lean against a wooden post during the first set as my legs were giving way. We opened a window for the second set and it went much better. No comparison with the previous week's gig when we were really flying with an energetic audience up close and personal. Hopefully, those people that came along to see us weren't too disappointed.
My singer and guitarist were there, they enjoyed it but like you say it was a funny setup!
