As mentioned earlier, drums on a backing track need to be loud, very loud! and the levels on each track need to correct within your set. We've been using versions of our previous LogicPro X recordings with added count in and clicks, etc. Run via an I Pad and a DI box. Works a treat. Still prefer a real drummer though.

I'm really enjoying the new album. I listened to the live BBC radio recording and the bass sound was crazy. I was in the car by myself but still looked round to try and find some to ask how the hell has he got away with that bass distortion. Like a chain saw having a fight with an army of wasps... brilliant and bonkers at the same time.

Dear God, man. What are you trying do to my bank account!

Went to see Peter Hook & The Light in Sunderland yesterday... a Black BBPH on it's way? (Not my photo)

That's one of my favourite songs. It instantly takes me back to being a teenager again.

The last three I was following roughly sold for between 650 and 850, that's in the last 4 month. I'd be interested if a black, white or green one was available.

It wouldn't fit in his coffin so you are probably correct.

My late 90s Thumb NT had a deeper profile than any of the Streamers I've owned, it was very comfortable and absolutely rock solid. I've yet to play any Warwick that I could describe as having a fat neck.

That's what happens with the compressor in my Orange 4Stroke amps. It's supposed to do that on the amp head. It could be just the way Orange build their compressors. Email Orange and ask them, they have alway been very helpful.

Neon Yuppie Coke Machine.

I watched this video as well and thought... I want another 734a. That pre amp sounds excellent, different to the BBPH. More vicious.

Yowzer, that would drive me nuts 🤣. SKB shallow case? Does it all fit ok and does it leave space in the rear to store the power and speaker cables? Cool looking bass.
-
Sell it. I had the same issue so sold it pretty quickly. I now own a Fusion 550 which I think is a better sounding amp, it fits my requirements with not a lot of fiddling about.

Excellent bass, I gigged mine for years and recorded our last album with it. Great quality, pickups and preamp sounded awesome. I only sold it fund a BBPH which is also great but doesn't have the same snarl... only bass I've previously owed that I'd buy again without a concern.
-
It's a service. I don't see the issue, thats only £11.25 monthly? Bargain if it's a V12.
-
Oil change £200... What were you driving, a V12?

I'd have loved that back in the day. Great basses! Gould hammered the life out of his.

Used in anger last night for an audition with a new Post Punk/Dark Wave project. Wow... it sounded awesome! Yamaha BBPH through EBS BS Deluxe and a Boss CE5. Perfect, the band thought it sounded brilliant and I was offered the spot. Very happy with myself.

Finally bought one after many years thinking about it. Sounds great, I definitely prefer it to the Legacy 800 that I owned for a few month before punting it on. New strings on the Streamer and neighbours away on holiday... my fillings are now loose.

NBD - Fender Hama Okamoto signature Precision
2elliot replied to wateroftyne's topic in Bass Guitars
Are these available in the UK as standard or was it imported? I'm not normally a Fender person but this bass has me interested.
