1.
Ashdown CTM 100 Valve Head. Great sounding bit of kit, full of natural valve goodness. Does drive and it does clean. It's used and does have the odd mark on the tolex. I bought it a few month back from Merton and have gigged it several times. It's still in the same condition and comes with a Roqsolid cover to keep it that way. I don't want to post this but can meet up in the North or come over to sunny Hartlepool if you want to try it out. £550 collected I'll post pictures at the weekend, and yes... It's loud. Cheers
2. Thank you Mr Merton. Twincam. It's a great valve head and it sounds like a great valve head. It's manageable in size and doesn't weigh a lot compared to some. If you need a valve Head this is perfect. I need a solid state head to fit the sound of my band, this doesn't do that sound. Cheers
3. Cheers thodrik. I thought it was older than that. I'll keep a look out in the for sale section for another. I understand how good the older TE gear is, I still own my 1225v which I bought new back in the early 90s. I was hoping another company would have something similar available new... just in case.
4.
Sorry for re-posting. The link didn't show up very clearly on mobile Might be worth changing the thread title to the correct model name as it'll help with external Google searches
Cheers I'll update the title.

6. I've been using this head for the last few month and have to say it sounds great. It's the later Peavey head with all the bells and whistles. I use it with everything engaged. Drive, compression pre shape etc and it spits out a wonderful clanky crunch. As this head is getting on a bit I was wondering what else is available that could offer up a similar racket. I'm thinking maybe an Ampeg svt pro 3 but have yet to actually try one. I did have a Ashdown evo 111 but it didn't quite have the attack. I also own an Ashdown Ctm 100 but that's way to nice for my current requirements so will be for the chop if I can find a TE replacement. Any recommendations? Cheers
7. Great set up. How are you getting on with the aguilar head?
8. I'm liking that. Glws
9.
I think this is it - the bass is a CRFM, Spector don't make a CRM as far as I know : http://basschat.co.uk/topic/180734-fs-spector-euro-4-crfm-in-trans-green-withdrawn/
Cheers for the bump. That's the same link I posted earlier in this very thread. Now... who wants to talk cash offers?
10. All of them more than once. That was many years ago, since my second wind I haven't snapped any, maybe I'm just not trying hard enough.
11. Hipshot Kickass looks interesting
12. That's cool bass!
13. Oh, Edmund. Can it be true?... Original Thread
14. All good tonight, loud and angry. The stage monitors v drum machine, well that's another story...
15.
If it booms on that hollow stage try turning it on its side (I know it doesn't have side feet but just to test). If that solves it then it is the output from the hybrid resonator causing the problem, if not it's just the usual powerful cab generating pressure by a hollow stage and causing stage resonance problem.
okay, I'll give that a try if required. Cheers
16. ...a nugget of purest Green. Still for sale
17. It sounds better and better every time I use it. Back on a hollow stage tomorrow though, small gig in Stockton. Let's see what happens. And mirror the comments above regarding Roqsolid, my cover is spot on.
18. Wow, that's an interesting one. Plenty of meaty crunch to the sound.
19. Will trade for mik Warwick Star Bass 34" black 4 string. Maybe an Aria TAB 66 with cash adjustment.
20. Top man to deal with. Nice Streamer too.
21. Looks pretty good to me.
22. Personal taste. I think Pedulla MVP look fantastic in dark colours with black hardware. I'd use a precision or jazz but it would need to be black with a maple fret board. I have no interest in any other colours. It's down to the owner. If I feel the bass doesn't work for me, for what ever reason then it's gone. I'm not interested in what my band or Mr Creme Brulee thinks. You will always play better when you are comfortable and happy with your bass.
23. Good luck Aidan.

25.
How does one access bypass on the B3?
Hold the middle foot switch down. If you hold it too long it mutes.
