This is my GK MB fusion 800, if you are looking at my ad you know how absolutely fabulous these amps are. It is barely 18 months old and its only been used a handful of times as I now only use in ear monitoring on stage. It comes fitted with GK rack ears, housed in the latest 3U SKB case. Both are in excellent condition. It comes with channel footswitch (un-used) and GK instruction manual. This is what the GK people say about this set up - A gigantic 800 watts of power in a head so compact it'll slot right into your gig bag Extensive tonal controls for shaping your perfect bass sound Iconic valve tone thanks to three 12AX7 tubes Your last ever bass head - you won't need another Terrific tube tone - no matter your style. The Gallien Krueger MB Fusion 800 Hybrid Bass Amp Head has been expertly designed to ensure you're always able to access the sound you want. With three 12AX7 tubes, you get the classic warmth and fullness of tone that only valves can deliver. These qualities can only enhance your music - whether you're playing rock, metal, jazz, funk, or wherever your own unique sound takes you. It's loaded with a wealth of features - everything you need in one box. Active 4-band EQ, contour control, two gain channels, and tuning mute function all make the Fusion perfect for the stage. It's explosively powerful, too. 800 watts of power will let you blast home every single note. And best of all? It's light. Really light. Weighing in at only 2 KG, it's also super-compact and will slide easily into your gig bag. Let GK change the way you perform - for the better. These amps retail for well over £900 and with the flight case costing £150 someone is going to grab a fantastic bargain. Cash or pay pal please. Delivery cost negotiable. Thank you for looking.

Bet you needed your own transit van and a team of specially trained roadies to lift that lot mate.....must have looked awesome on stage though. Did you manage to fit anyone else on stage?

Looking through this fabulously resurrected thread, it's amazed me how many people made their own cabs and how many people bought and played through an 18" speaker. As I said in an earlier thread, I made my own cab and covered it in black vinyl when I was just 16 mainly out of necessity because I couldn't afford a factory made one. I loaded it with an 18" Goodmans after reading in the brochure that it was perfect for Organ and fairground applications. Just hilarious when I look back though

I had a Selmer Treble and Bass 50 bought from Wilsic Sounds in Doncaster for £70 and I also made my own cabinet and put a 100w 18" Goodmans speaker in it......sounded great but not very loud.

Brilliant amps ......when working. Mine, which I bought second hand in Doncaster in the mid 70's caught fire on stage and we had to stop mid song to put it out. Have to totally agree with Musky, Carlsboro bass amps were a waste of solder, wood and wiring!!!!

Back up for sale are my pair of German made Warwick cabs I purchased brand new from Electromusic in Doncaster. I have gigged with them ever since and have never missed a beat and have been absolutely reliable. These cabs are both 300 watts and are both 8 ohms each. I have used them with a variety of amps over the years, Ampeg/Orange/Mesa/Trace Elliot and currently a Gallien Kruger MB 800 fusion. Both cabs are in very good condition for their age. I still have the yellow Warwick logos for both cabs but never stuck them on the front of the grills as I liked the look of them without. The dimensions are - Top Cab 2x8 speaker is 21 wide, 13.5 deep, 14 High. Bottom Cab 1x15 speaker is 21 wide, 13.5 deep and 21 high. They are both very portable and easy to handle. Pick up only and cash or Paypal with you paying the charges please.

For sale is my Terror Bass 500 watts amplifier. Bought approximately 5 years ago as back up amp to my GK MB main stage amp. Hardly used and in very good condition and working order. I have always stored this amp indoors. There's slight peeling on the chrome handle but I think this is fairly common. It's very loud and powerful with vintage tones but if you are reading this you will already know how great these amps are. It's a hybrid amp with a valve preamp and a D class power stage. It also has a valve at the effects out stage adding warmth to any pedals you may use. It can operate at both 8 and 4 ohms and is switchable at the back. It's also nice and light weighing in at 5 kg. It comes with a carry case which is in as new condition and also a power lead. I'm only selling due to down sizing my equipment. Thanks for looking. Cheers, Steve

Just out of interest, what year did you buy the thumb Mr Freedom? I remember being in the shop one day talking to the bass assistant and good friend Dave Ryan when in walked a guy who'd been on tour with Simply Red, carrying 4 Warwick Thumb basses. Dave offered him a price for all the lot and the deal was done. Wonder if one of the basses that day was one you bought......did you buy it second hand? Just jogging my memory for the year/decade.....must have been late 80's early 90's.
