For sale is my never gigged or left the house Fender Bassman 250/210 combo. Used only for occasional home practice and is in immaculate 10/10 condition and sounds great and is very versatile with a fab mid range. Comes with original owners manual/power lead/Fender stickers. Just a thought....a D class amp and a Super compact wouldn't probably weigh as much as the volume knob......

A French polisher could sort this out for not much money and a quick tune up and someone's got themselves a nice piano.

This was my first proper long scale bass back in the very early 70's....my Mother killed it by leaning it up against a radiator....had a neck like a long bow after that and totally unusable! This one looks in lovely condition though..

It basically reduces the mids the more the contour control is wound on.

You're absolutely right, these amps sound so good without much tweaking. I usually set the bass and treble around 11 0'clock and have the contour set at around 7-8 o'clock...it simply hits the spot for me using a MM bass.

Out of interest, what settings do you use and with what bass? Cheers Steve
