1. It would be interesting to reply to this chap and tell him he is hired!
2. A 'friend' who constantly goes on about bass players only being able to play one note sent me the attached! It made me laugh.
3. Just bought Dan's Road Worn Precision. What is there to say that hasn't been already said?! Not a lot, but I will say it again nonetheless! Dan is a great person to do business with and it is no wonder he has such great feedback. He is a credit to this community and is one of the people that make it so great. You can definitely buy with confidence from Dan. His communication was always friendly, informative, helpful and punctual. There was no fuss with the sale and the bass was well packaged when sent to me. What else can you ask for? Nothing! Thank you Dan for a great bass at a great price.
4. Any online links to this review? May be of interest to your potential buyers... Oh btw what is your dream bass that is making you sell this?
5. Being a thumb owner I really can vouch for this bass. Construction and feel is superb. Also a lovely lovely tone. Many people don't get to try these German basses these days as the price new is crazy. So at this price it really is an amazing deal.
6. Do you what the neck wood is on your bass? Did Warwick switch at some point from ovangol and wenge for the Thumbs? Or am I imagining that...
7. I think you'd like the Warwick corvette hot rod with its P style pickups then! Superb neck and very light (body has a hollow tone chamber). Go on try another Warwick!!! ;-) I happen to have one, but don't think I could ever sell it.
8. Awesome bass. Highly recommend. Also like the colour combos on this and the figuring of the maple neck.
9. That is a great price for a great bass. Mine is a '98 model and I think there are a few slight variations. However, I'm guessing they are very similar. I really like the feel of the neck on a thumb. Not as slim and thin as a Jazz, but my next favourite neck easily! I find the neck wood is naturally not sticky and real easy to get around. How did you find this compared with the streamer $$? The streamer neck on the $$ was way chunkier. Is there a Warwick out there for you?
10.
How is this still here?
If my road worn jazz is anything to go by, I'm sure the precision is equally good. Have you thought about offering delivery yourself? I know it seems a pain (well I used to think so, until I actually did it), but I think it attracts a lot of buyers. There's lots of post about it on here and advice with couriers. Once you've packed a bass well, the courier side is actually very easy. My last three basses I've sold I have just dropped them into my local parcel force and had no problems at all. Hope this helps and good luck with the sale.
11. Awesome!
12. Good stuff! Sounds very professional and original. I do like. :-)
13. I think you will sell. It is just a matter of timing. Give it a little while and once the post crimbo blues set in, we will all be looking for something new to cheer us up ;-)
14. After following this post I really wanted this bass, even though I wasn't in the market for it. Sadly Christmas has wiped me out of funds :-( If I had the money I would be straight in there. Still think it is a good price for a limited edition.
15. On the serial at the back of the neck it says: 6/261 I've seen a few dirty blondes starting with 6. Is that maybe the year and the 261 is the number of it?
16. Just been looking at the cost of new German Warwicks....whoaaaaaa! The prices seem to have gone up loads since I last bought! This bass and some of the others on here are going at really crazy good prices. I really recommend anyone who hasn't tried a Warwick before to give them a go. They are a real quality built basses and sound pretty awesome too.

Looks like an awesome bass. Do you know how your bass would sound compared to a Thumb Bolt On?
18. Wasn't saying your Thumb doesn't have a lot of variety - poorly worded reply by me! Sorry if it came across like that. I find with my Thumb that I don't vary the sound much - I pick it up and play because it is perfect. I meant to say that I didn't feel the need to vary the tone. I hardly ever tinker with it, because it has a good standard sound. I love the Thumb so much and would never sell mine. I found the Streamer had so many sounds options I just couldn't decide which one to use!! If I had the money (and space) I would definitely buy your Thumb. I would love to have a dirty blonde and a bleached blonde! Again I think you are selling this limited edition bass at a great price.
19. That makes total sense. I love my Thumb, but agree it pretty much has one type of sound. If you like it and it suits the music you play then it is perfect. However, my little experience of Streamers is that they have a lot more sound variety. The Streamer $$ I once owned had quite a chunky neck, as compared to the Thumb. Do you know if that is true of all Streamers?
20. Hey mate, what is it that is missing from this Warwick, that the Ss1, Ss2 etc have? I think you are selling for a great price and I'm sure if my normal thumb is anything to go by then this bass will be outstanding.
21. Lovely bass - how can you get rid of this!! How does it compare to a normal thumb bolt on?
22. Very much like your video (and curtains ;-p). I think you have demonstrated clearly just how many sounds, and good sounds, the $$ can produce. I was thinking what a great bass it was and almost started regretting why I sold it! I think you are offering it at a great price and it will definitely make someone very happy.
23. Bump for a fine bass and a fine fellow basschatter. :-)
24. This used to be my bass! I can confirm that it is a great bass and in great condition. I hope it goes to a good home! Have a bump on me!
