Sold my Warwick Streamer $$ to Alan. I could see from his already great feedback that he is a trusted and well respected buyer/seller on basschat. This immediately filled me with confidence. His communication was always polite, friendly and punctual. I received the payment pretty much instantly upon agreeing a deal. He also provided the courtesy of letting me know he received the bass safely and then a further email letting me know how he got on with the bass. It is really nice to deal with someone with good old fashioned manners. It is a pleasure adding to Alan's derservedly great feedback. Would highly recommend dealing with him.

Just to restate that this is bass is pretty much in perfect condition and is like new. I have literally gigged with this bass once (back in 2007!). Video footage of the $$ in action can be seen on youtube below (not my finest of playing though!): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEEJkBAOMZQ&list=UUk-09QQhrWXTvNGtAHem2CA&index=9&feature=plcp

Can anyone recommend a decent hard case for shipping that is also value for money (ie cheap!)? I want to consider the option of offering a hard case if I sell my bass. I'm thinking it might ease any shipping concerns a potential buyer may have. I have sold two basses before that had soft case - I shipped them mummified in various layers of bubble wrap and polystyrene and they arrive safely. However, I was thinking for a higher value bass, the extra security of a hard case may be worth it.
Have a bump from me - smashing bass and a good price, but I've got my eyes on a Corvette $$ at the moment.
Cheers Bo0tsy and nice Space Bass. Thanks for the comment about the good price too - I'm starting to think I should put it up!

Totally agree with you Highfox. It is interesting how ones bass path unfolds. I think the thing with the Warwick is that they are so good it is difficult to want to switch to another bass make once you have bought one. The converse is, if you buy a truly terrible bass, you immediately want to get another make bass! Great to hear your thoughts too stingrayPete1977; they were really useful, especially the bit about the eq. I think it takes a while to get to know the sounds of a bass and what works in what situation. It is funny that you said a lot of people boost the bass and then add the treble to taste. When initially trying to figure out a sound I like the best, that is exactly what I did without any thought, or logic. So it is reassuring to know that is what a lot of long term Ray player do and find best.
Would appear to be a bit of a bargain that...
Thank you! :-) I'm constantly struggling about whether to sell this bass. It really is beautiful. However, I've just bought a Stingray Classic and can't justify owning five basses! My Warwick Thumb bass has too many sentiments attached to it and the limited edition corvette hot rod is something special. So that leaves the Streamer $$. Hmmmmmm. It really is a great bass and has a fantastic curved body. Also the sound possibilities are endless and I'm very guilty for not exploring them all.

These are the photos of the bass. They were took by the shop, but are of the actual bass I bought.
