It is never complete... Nice boards lads.The M9 with a proper dirtbox and vtbass DI is well thought out. Basically the same line of thinking with the Zoom Multistomp (eventhough I am not a fan of Zoom at all) with that Boss OD.

Sweet board! Does that Philosopher bring lively crunch? I considered purchasing one a while ago but hesitated. Here's my latest attempt at an fxboard (I have a dualband comp in my amplifier):

Heartwood is a reddish brown. Well defined sapwood is a pale yellowish white. Color tends to darken with age. Pieces containing pommele or blistered figure are sometimes sold under the name Afzelia xylay, which is a shortened version of the botanical name of a particular Asian species, Afzelia xylocarpa. Afzelia is on the IUCN redlist and is now an endangered type of wood. Expect to see it disappear from many catalogs, much like Boire has.

1524T cab got tweetered and stuffed with foam today for a tighter tone. Eminence tweeter (APT80), LPAD and 12db/oct filter @ 5khz. I am very happy so far, tweeter is nice and transparent in the now snappy tone. Have to dial in the Lpad further or use EQ above 5khz to make the tweeter go all Marcus Miller on me (which I do not want).

Smaller and smaller.

I do recognize his talent and musicality and understand why it fascinates a lot of bassists, don't get me wrong. He was indeed one of the greatest ever. But music like the stuff he did in Weather Report etc. is just not for everyone. I can't listen to it (or any other jazzy stuff from that era) for more then 2 minutes or I will want to break stuff. Still one of my dreambasses, that SS2-5 of yours. Not a huge fan of the Line6 BassPod even though they are very versatile little machines. Here's what the cat dragged in today over here:

DR fat beams sound really good on them, so do low riders. Currently I use EB hybrid slinkies which also sound great but do not last very long. I play dolphin pro1 and streamer pro-m five string basses.

Twinjazz only makes sense as a bridge pickup. There's no use switching coils if they're gonna sound nearly identical to eachother.
