  1. wuff... i don't knowwwwww....it's light for a big combo but it's a lot of parcel. Making something that size and weight properly secure in transit will test my packing skills to the limit and beyond and likely cost you half it's price in postage stamps! I hate turning down a sale but I'm afraid, awfully afraid, I gotta say I wouldn't.
  2. aye, or a bc210 mebbe so. nowt to trade now though, only your english pounds.
  3. HIWATT Maxwatt B100 15 inch bass combo. Stonking period rock amp Good condition, few small score marks but no major rips in covering. 7 channel EQ works fine and is really effective. Weighs just 26 kilo and sensible handles make carrying ok Buyer to collect, cash on collection please - Norfolk Suffolk border, near Diss
  4. Peavey 1x15" inch bass or PA cab with Black Widow 1505 KADT driver. Single 1/4" jack socket. I think it's a late 70's, early 80's cabinet. Generally in good condition for its age COLLECTION AND CASH PAYMENT PLEASE - I am near Diss, on the Suffolk/Norfolk border
  5. Don't suppose you ever come to Suffolk?
  6. man you are so limiting your market. A guitar shop or a bike shop can let you have the boxes for nothing, Put bass in box. Post box.
  7. I have a BH250. If I plug my bass into the input socket I get no sound and the tuning lights don't fire up. I can get sound if I plug an MP3 player into the Aux Input socket on the back. I have tried the amp with three different guitar leads and two different guitars, no joy. Causes? The only thing I can think is that just before this happening I tossed the instrument lead over the back of my last cab (TE 1153T) and it made a sound like the connector could have been touching the speaker link connectors on back. Anyone out there know whether it might be a reset issue (if so, how) or a repair job?
  8. alora... don't want to hijack this thread but if no one else is interested might be interested in maude's BBG5S
  9. He does that . I once went to see one of Andy's 'for sales'. I also said I'd think about it and he'd flogged it before I even got home
  10. My immaculate Roland CB100 combo for your TC BC210 or BC212 cab. My Roland is barely out of the egg without a mark on it. 100w yet weighs only 17kg if you're looking for light, and its small too. Seven different amp/cab sounds programmed in, 3 way EQ and high quality 12 inch speaker. Top handle Looking for a straight swap for a TC Electronics 210 or 212 cab in first class condition. If you have an RS 210 / 212 I could be persuaded to part with my Trace Elliot 1153T cab as well as the Roland. Based in central East Anglia. Willing to travel a little depending on the deal. SOLD SOLD
  11. Now changed me mind. Prefects please delete.
  12. Trace Elliott 1153T 15" cab rated at 200w, 8ohm. No damage, rips or stains on carpet covering, no rust on the speaker retaining screws or clips, no significant marks or scratches on grille. Side handles at point of balance so easier to carry than its weight of 25kg would imply. Not that 25kg is that heavy - equivalent to a well loaded holiday suitcase! Available Diss area of East Anglia. Will deliver as far as Ipswich, Norwich or Bury St Edmund for an extra £5 petrol money. Not practical to post.
  13. sorry to be ignorant, but what does it mean that it's not in the rack mount anymore? Also, what's the condition like apart from what's wrong? And finally, can you post it - Suffolk is a long way from Dorset.
  14. The Roland combos are relatively light (17k), small, compact and have a wide range of sounds. I just bought one to replace my wonderful but heavy TE 715 because I can't carry it anymore as my knees have gone. Oddly, the Roland actually has a Trace Elliot emulation mode! They're not far off your budget new.
  15. Having just bought one of these with an original handbook I can tell you the official specs are: Truss rod: Press down E string on 1st and 16th fret. Relief should be 0.25 - 0.4 mm at 7th fret. String height: 0.2 more than standard, vis. 3.2, 3.1, 3.0, 2.9 +/- 0.2mm Pick up from string gap 3mm
  16. unless i got the wrong end of the stick these are easy to get on ebay. couplea quid, purpose built 8mm socket, worked on my bb300 any road
  17. You have - or should have - PM
  18. i got dunlops which look similar - also punch full sound
  19. This is gorgeous, I'm in love. You have done such a good job. And at that price it's a steal. Sadly I've no money too - so I'm out (but still in love)
  20. Fender Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass with natural finish and two chrome pickup covers for that authentic seventies look. Or just keep the neck cover on for a passable Marcus Miller copy. Taking either of the covers off isn't a problem, leaving just small screw holes that can't be seen from more than a few feet away. Passive bass, maple neck with black binding and block inlays and two Seymour Duncan Jazz Bass pickups. Sweet playing narrow neck, excellent low quick action. Excellent condition. This is almost new and I am only the second owner. Recently set up by professional guitar tech. One centimetre long fine crack in the hard finish over the natural wood (almost impossible to photograph). Slight matte hazing of fine scratches on pickguard. Very slight scuffs on the chrome of the neck pickguard. That's it, otherwise lovely. Comes with Marvel strap locks + mid blue padded faux leather Gaucho strap. TruBass black nylon coated strings with plenty of life left. Sorry, UK sale only. Collection and cash sale preferred but will post and use PayPal. £250 oo Post £15
