i just looked at my one and the finnish on the back is a bit ropey and i agree with your matey who said just countersink the other side. if you were down this way id let you try it out but Scotlands a bit of a trek from me. sorry if this isnt very useful Tom

Hi guys, Just a quick question i have a twelve inch open backed speaker cabinet. Where can i get a half decent speaker to replace the bust one that was in there?? also how do you spell conundrum? Nothing super fancy but nothing terrible either any help much appreciated Tom

Am i right in thinking you buy sections of it then patch them together to get a mark bass amp? or am i completely barking up the wrong tree?

hiya, my trace elliot 2x10 weighs a mega tonne however it matches my trace elliot gmp head (roughly 200w @ 8ohms. this could very well be wrong!) I'm looking for a lightweight reasonably cheap replacement cabinet. I've run my head through an ashdown mini48 and it was amazing. I was wondering if there was anything similar on the market that won't break the bank but will work and not force my spine out of my body. any help very much appreciated Tom

Hiya, my names Tom I am a weekend and bedroom player in a couple of bands nothing to serious have a few bits and pieces of gear Fender aerodyne jazz bass Fender mexican precision bass Squier telecaster custom bass (I only got this last week and am absolutely hooked on it) I'm a bit of a fender nut but have had a Roberts skeleton bass (the horrible cheapy non body thing you might've seen on ebay) and a Tokai thunderbird as well both of which weren't too offensive. All played through a late 90's Trace Elliot Gmp series head and a Trace Elliot 2x10 both of which are bomb proof and nicely road worn. hope you're all well and wont mind me popping up in conversations every now and then Tom
