If you compare the "I Hate Jazz" thread with the "I Hate Jamiroquai" thread a very different tack was taken by the mods. In the first one the obvious trolling was tolerated and I felt that the negative and incendiary tone taken was [i]almost[/i] supported by the mods whereas with the latter Machines took a different approach and rightfully, I think, alerted everyone to the fact that this was in fact trolling. I think that this approach works in knocking the wind out of the sails of the antagonists. One answer, I suppose is, ignore it and move on but we never used to have it; it's something that seems to have crept in over the last couple of months. I don't post as much as I used to but as I've met some great people and even made some good friends and one really special one through here, I'll be sticking around for quite a while to come. This is a horribly stressful time of the year for some of us and we should be getting away from all the crap when we log in here not spreading it around. Happy Hannukah or Merry Christmas to all.

Jacking up your prices by that much in one go can only have a detrimental effect on your business in the long term. What other kneejerk reaction changes are they likely to make? Now I view RIC as a rip off narrow minded and blinkered company. I wonder what Tom Petty would have to say about this...

Does anyone have a serial code for Cubase LE that they could let me have? I got Cubase LE with my Zoom H4 and lost the CD sleeve in my recent housemove. I've now got to reload everything on to my PC since it had problems and I'm a bit stuck. Any help greatly appreciated. Sean

I have the same unit AKG W400 and it always cuts out during Peter Gunn Theme and never on any other song. I have OBBM cables and have checked everything but it's always Peter Gunn and always the AKG. It's actually only the first half of Peter Gunn too which is a pisser as it's the first song of the gig. I'm absolutely stumped.

There's a heck of a lot of negativity and aggression posted on this thread. I'd be really disappointed for a newbie to make this thread the first one they read on their first visit to BC, it makes us look like a bunch of froth-mouthed ranting bigots. People need educating not insulting and bullying and ARGH's approach sadly doesn't help the case he's trying to state, in fact it's probably having the reverse effect. My message to anyone who is skeptical about ERB is go a Steve Lawson gig, open your mind and absorb. Take a chill pill people, this forum used to be a nice place.
