1. Buy British. Support our own. They're easy to contact and offer great advice and support and will make a bass exactly how you want it. Overwater Sei Shuker Status All very different, all super high quality.
2. Yes, PM me with your full address and I'll get a price.
3. Quite a lot of interest so far but no one's followed through yet so it's still available.
4. Thanks for the comments, chaps!

6. This bass is so much more than a £200 bass. It was bought by me new, has been modified to make it even better than it was originally, it's been set up to play beautifully and a generally excellent bass guitar. I'll selling to make space as I have a new instrument incoming and I need to make room. Modifications are: Hipshot string retainers fitted Gotoh-alike bridge fitted There are some screw holes in the headstock where the string retainer fitting went a bit wonky originally and theres a small ding below the J pickup. These pickups are really hot and well balanced. The B string is superb with the new bridge fitted and string retainers in place. I've gigged this bass quite a lot since I've had it and it's one of those instruments that is no fuss, easy to get a good sound, no worries about damaging it because it's expensive, the orange metallic is always a talking point. It's strung with a set of Ernie Ball Coated regular Slinky 45-130 and they really haven't seen much use - these are not the strings pictured. I'll miss it but it has to go. Shipping will be around £20 UK mainland. It's £23 UPS to NI. I still have the original box and all the inserts so it will be well packaged. No trades.
7. £20 is less than the charges of one £200 instrument on eBay. For me the £20 works out about £2 a sale over a year and it all goes toward keeping this facility available.

9. Shipping to the UK will be £25 insured. There's one tiny chip on the upper shoulder, other than that, it's immaculate. Sounds gorgeous. Any questions, let me know. Please check my feedback. No trades.
10. I'm selling my Mesa Boogie M6 Carbine. It's in fantastic condition, has been kept in a rack bag all its life. Has a custom made footswitch with it. Can also supply with a 4u GigSkinz rack bag like this one for an extra £50. It's insanely loud as you might expect for a 600W Mesa amp. REDUCED TO £1000 No trades. I've got some sturdy packing material so am happy to ship fully insured (around £40 UK)
11. Those live versions of Suspicious Minds that are albums and YouTube are absolutely fabulous. The energy coming off the Elvis band is just astonishing and Jerry Scheff's lines are glorious. If you're ever in need of cheering up I'd suggest a listen. I'm off to buy a copy of his book; it seems like exactly the sort of book Id like :-)
12. Apparently JJ plays so hard he needs his basses refretting annually. With stainless fret wire. I'm seeing them next Saturday in Bristol.
13. Here's the first bit of feedback for Craig. Good communications, great bloke to deal with. Patiently waited for me to post the bass as I was away for most of the week. Another fantastic Basschat deal. Thanks for a great deal. All the best Sean
14. It's on! I'm going whatever. Let's hope Chickenfoot do their thing for the third time and that their tours overlap. Based on all my Chickenfoot, DLR and VH shows, Chickenfoot are the best band, VH have the best songs and Dave VH have the best songs and most goosebumpy guitarist. Let's hope Ed's up to muster
15.
Best combo I've used is a Mesa Walkabout easily keep up with any band and you have the added bonus of using the head on another cab,Can't tell you how good these are and there's one for sale in the Ad section.
As ever it's a subjective thing but for me the Walkabout is king. Everything else is like alcohol-free lager.
16. Surely 8lb not 8kg?
17.
I wonder if BGM will start doing this type of regular article?
Eh, no, they're rubbish and would get it all wrong probably.
18. It's just another string. Get over it, it's no big deal. Just play. I switch between 4 and 5 without thinking.
19. They are NOT having my money for the rubbish they print no matter how much cheap Chinese tat they throw at me. I subscribed for years and all they could muster was absolute rubbish. BGM is one of the poorest products I have ever bought. I thought that after Mr McIver took over it would get better but the last issue I had earlier this year with the missing Mike Lull review was the final straw. BGM is a rip off in my opinion and after supporting it for years I am now going to adopt a seal with the money instead.
20. These have http://www.monocase.com/mono-vertigo-bass.asp Plus they are fantastically robust. Anything else is second best. Even the other Mono cases aren't as good. I haven't got one but have given them a thorough examination in the flesh and they are absolutely fantastic. I do have one of the older double Mono bass bags though.
21. Congrats and I hope you continue to enjoy. That three-hour trip is a fantastic opportunity to listen to great music :-)
22. I spent over an hour at Rudy's with Martin trying a few Pensa basses and though they were very nice it made me realise how good my Yamaha Super BBs are. Pensa are bit plush looking generally for me although the relic'd sunburst 60s J was much more up my street and the relic job was subtle and tasteful. Great place to spend a weekend. Soul Asylum at the Bowery Ballroom were excellent although disappointingly they have only one original member now.
23. Cool. Glad you can see the pics now.
24. Yes
