2. He may be sh*t hot with his technique but I bet he couldn't bitch and whinge on a forum as well as some of us!
3. Ronnie Wood. Apparently he influenced Stanley Clarke from what he did with the Jeff Beck Group. Back when Bill Wyman quit The Stones there was a rumour that Ronnie was going to switch to bass and that Mick Taylor would return to the band. Sounds potty now but I remember that being the talk of the day.
4. I bought two sets of strings from a seller on ebay in the US and they were sent USPS and they disappeared without trace! When I notified the seller he sent some more and they arrived in about two weeks with the usual customs and handling charges. Still cheaper than UK purchase though.
5. I love the colour combination.
6.
I'm also after 5-stringer, but, when I took Ibazzy, I didn't think about slap very much.. And, now, damnit, I got problems with it - 5th string is not that serious problem, but, fret spacing 16.4mm, if I'm right, and neck pickup is not that far from fretboard ( as I've noticed only Now ) - as I'm using two fingers to pop the strings, keeping thumb and two fingers right in position becomes a Thing. I like slap sound very much, but, all in all, it looks to me that my Ibazzy's for everything, but except slap I know, it's all in work, and I'm working, though, how do you guys struggle with 16.4mm spacing if you even struggle?
I had a serious look into an SR1005 Prestige and had it at home for a while and just couldn't slap on it. My Lakland 55-02 (19mm) is perfect for slapping, no problems and is just as fast for me as the 44-02 but the DJ is much faster to play than either (or that's the way it feels to me anyway) The 55-02 is great for long grooves in F - it's the ability to play in position more comfortably that I like about the 5 string.
7. Only about twenty for me last year which was the fewest in many years.
8. Not the best photos but you get the idea?
9.
if you want my honest opinion, i don't like either much. it could just be the strings, i don't know... sorry.
You stick to the chromed ones. Nice looking and practical for shaving too!
10.
Although recently I hear that he's made up with Fender and they are doing a MK sig model.
Ooh, how fantastic, a signature Stratocaster, what a novelty. I played a Schecter Telecaster guitar like Pete Townshend's and it was fantastic. I believe that Pete Townshend played Schecter guitars in the Eighties for much the same reason that MK did. That MM/S CAR bass in the bottom pic looks great and is a nice take on the Stingray/Sterling model, in fact I think I'll go and let my chums on the EBMM forum know about it, I'm sure they'll be ecstatic.

Do a search for the member OBBM and follow the links to his cables page. I've bought about 6 various ones from him and they are top notch. Nothing better around and great value. try his link at http://www.bassic.co.uk/
