Yup, first step of recovery is the admission of having a problem: I buy gear I don't need!! Ok, I said it, now time to fix it. I need to sell this wonderful bass, which I only bought last week from here. The bass is as perfect as advertised and it comes with an equally wonderful hard case and great D'Addario flat wounds, but: 1) There is something I really NEED to spend money on (not a bass!) 2) I don't really get on well with long scale bass guitars at all, despite the fact I'm a DB player. 3) it sounds amazing, but just not like I like to sound in my head. So I put it back on here sure that the descerning bass player will buy as it is indeed a bargain. Same price I got it for last week, postage is free in the UK. This is the original link. FINAL PRICE £370 Hi guys, Total impulse buy on my part and here I am with this lovely '57 strat relic and no use for it whatsoever. The guitar is made of Fender parts, all consistent with the original Fender model but it was NOT made on a Fender factory, but by a luthier in Manchester. A really lovely job, I am in fact a guitarist (classical though) and it plays really great. The looks are too die for, the relic'ing is great. The pickups are original vintage American. The luthier work consists of neck set and fret dress, intonation etc. All in tip top shape. It comes with a brand new tweed case. Any question please ask. Postage included in the price.

Here's a set of D'Addario Helicore Hybrids which came with my Eminence Bass and were only on for a few days. The bizzare thing is that the E, A and D are hybrids for sure (green and gold silks at the bottom. However the G string is an orchestral Helicore (blue and gold silk at the bottom). No idea why, I can only guess that the guys at Eminence didn't like the hybrid G as too zingy? Anyhoo, £50 posted for a very useful set of helicores.
