Never was a ABBA fan (I like maybe 4 or 5 of their songs) but I appreciate that they were something a bit special - and gave a lot of pleasure to lot of people. However, I reckon the recent publicity photos in the papers make them look like characters from Disney's 1982 movie - 'TRON'. Chris

An interesting thread with a lot of information, maybe something to consider in the future. So this is probably a daft question, but are the enclosures (RCF. HeadRush, QSC etc) mentioned in many of the preceding posts intended primarily for PA use? Or are they really 'all things to all men' ? Chris

I Ain't No Mountain - Budgie (but written by Andy Fairweather-Lowe I believe)

I don't regard Deep Purple as a 'Heavy Metal' band at all. I do think that the Mk II Deep Purple line-up (Lord , Blackmore , Paice , Gillan & Glover) was one of the finest Rock Bands, irrespective of genre. To my ears - 'In Rock' and 'Machine Head' remain first class studio 'rock' albums - and 'Made In Japan' is the definitive live 'rock' album.
