2. Oh yeah - I like that a lot, great bass playing not coloured or overshadowed by masses of 'Techno-Flash'. An 21st century version of the classic Jazz Trio of Piano + Bass + Drums (I'm thinking Oscar Peterson / Dudley Moore etc). Anybody know the name of the track and where I might find a CD version. Thanks for the 'Heads-Up' Bubinga-5. Chezz55

 16. Thanks Steve - I'll open domestic negotiations this evening and let you know what happens - we talking evenings/weekend or both? Chris.
Hi Chris The amp is all solid state - set flat it is deeper than most other lightweight heads I've tried but clean all the way. The EQ is very good on it too. I play both active and passive and I'm sure it would cope with your Status no problem. Never bought a footswitch and it lives in a Skinz gig bag which I bought about three months ago from Mark at BassDirect - all in excellent nick. You could practically walk over and give it a go! I should be around this week if you want to try it out - more than welcome. Steve
17. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I shouldn't have looked at Bass Merchant/TecAmp websites ('specially since MK ain't a million miles away)- a couple of questions 1 - Is the pre-amp all solid state or is there a valve in there somewhere? 2 - The words suggest the Puma will cope with passive and active basses - any idea how it might react to a Status with 18V active electronics. 3 - Any accessories included (carry case, rack ears, foot switch etc.....) Chris.
Needs must back up!
18. +1 for Robocorpse (Pete) - Smooth transaction, good communications and prompt delivery. Cheers.Pete. Chris
 19.
No, but the 3 other people who are apparently so desperate to buy it have all gone quiet or backed out. Im getting sick of this bullcrap and will just ebay it to save any more hassle if I dont have my full asking price by midnight Monday.
PM on its way in a few minutes.
 20.
Chezz55 I live between Colchester and Clacton. The neck string anchor that ia attached to the bass just has slots for double ball strings. The "string thing" is a small block with 5 holes and 5 grub screws and is held in place by string tension. N
PM on its way Blink
 21. Hmm onset of GAS here, and seriously interested in this bass. Where abouts in North Essex Blink? Could you do a couple of close-up pictures of the neck end string anchor please. Cheers. Chezz55
 22. My Generation by The Who Those 4 mini-solos by The Ox (John Entwistle) are sublime and they still take my breath away.
