The newly-formed I joined recently is having a lively internal debate about the band's name. We play soft-rock/pop/indie covers. Some of the band favour "quirky"/fun names like Creative Chair Bending or The Spotted Frogs or Spiny Norman or Bats in Bikinis or Blame it on Leslie. Other people (I'm one of them) would choose a band name that gives promoters and audiences some sort of idea of the music we play. So - what do we think, folks?

There is a 3rd option; An unlined fretless with a full set of fret markers along the top edge of the fingerboard that only you can see. Some fretless Stingrays have this. He was prepared to post - I asked him. However, I couldn't get any extra photos from him, or answers to some specific questions I asked. So, I decided not to chance it.

Some parts are pretty technical and I'm struggling to keep up. The TC Classic drives the BF Compact well enough, but I've noticed I'm already at 3/4 main volume at rehearsal. I'm a bit concerned that I'll run out of headroom at gigs (coming up shortly). I was wondering whether the Reidmar would give me more volume and more headroom than the TC Classic. I like things simple - no valves, small number of knobs, passive basses, no pedals. Plug 'n' play, that's me.

Folks, I have a TC Classsic 450 driving a BF Compact. I'm slightly concerned that I'm not accessing the full potential of the Compact. Would the Reidmar give me more volume for pub-rock gigs, do you think? Steve

My Compact only has 1 speakon, however - hence the need for a Y splitter.

All these have happened to me recently: The singer's buggered off to Bulgaria to sell timeshare apartments without telling anybody The porn studio next door has complained about the noise The drummer's headbutted the tailgate of his car and has had to go to A&E The rehearsal barn has nesting bats and we can't disturb them The lead guitarist has injured himself taking down some shelves What has everybody else had to put up with? The total load seen by the amp (if you are using two 8Ω cabs) will be 4Ω. [/quote] From what I've read about these cabs, all they have on the back is one 1/4" jack plug socket. Amazon review: "I bought this cabinet for small acoustic gigs as well as home practice. It has the Eden sound in a very small package. It's great. A very nice balanced tone. I haven't had any issues with it's handling for my needs. My only complain is that it comes with a single 1/4" plug with no daisy chain option, nor does it come with speak on outputs."
