1. Ahh I know the feeling buddy! My main band had been on hiatus for a couple of months (drummer and singer had, well, I'll say some differing opinions.) So during that time I started depping for a friends band (usual pub covers). Today, had a full rehearsal with the main band and it just felt like we'd played together yesterday! Tis a good feeling indeed! All the best mate, hope it continues to feel good! Mark
2. Stunning bass (believe I saw it on ye olde FB yesterday too!) Watch the bumps though dude, think its 36hours between each one now, or the ad may get pulled ;-) Mark J
3. Theres a thread in the main bass gear forum for dating Fenders matey.
4. I've just noticed its from the same area, I've sent the seller a message now. Can you remove this post if possible? (Laptop just died, posting this message from my phone) This has confused me to no end! Sorry
5. Yeah, I've got some pics of the build process on an old laptop. That is pretty strange, as I honestly haven't got this advertised anywhere else. I'll remove it until I can find out whats going on. Thanks!!!
6. Ahh fair one! Lol, this ones a mishmash of a couple of old basses, didn't know it would end up looking the same as a stock instrument. Cheers! =)
7. REMOVED. Sorry - Mark.
8. Ahh mate, if only I had the cash.. My first 6 string was a Shine, and it was so easy to play it was unbelievable!! Think they were made at the same factory as some of the lower end (but not basic) Ibanez's and Epiphones in Korea.. But don't quote me on that! Anyway, friendly bump for a fine instrument!! =)
9. All PMs replied to, thanks for the interest. TRADE PENDING
10. Can see some pics here - http://s1059.photobucket.com/albums/t428/MarkJenkinsBass/Fender%20Precision%20MIM/
11. Hey, from one new member to another - Welcome!
12. Sorry, I'm based in Llanelli, South Wales.
13. Recently received this bass through a trade, gigged it once but its not really my type of bass. Near-mint condition, only some light scratching to the rear neck plate. Set up and re-strung with Fender nickel wound steels, low action and beautifully balanced. Unable to post pics until I can get to a working computer, but more than happy to e-mail detailed pictures via my phone. Looking for £275 ono, or trade - WHYG? Any questions/enquirys just PM me and I'll reply asap. Same for people wanting pics - let me know what exactly you want to see and I'll do my best. Collection prefered as I don't drive, but I may be able to deliver for a nominal fee to cover train/bus/friends petrol tank costs (no couriers unfortunately, had a few very bad encounters over the years which has eroded my trust in them!) Cheers, Mark.
14. Fair play, these basses are stunning to play, the pickups really sing! If I'd seen this before today, I'd have made an offer instead of buying another P bass!
15.
Best five strings ever the fortress is.
Definately agree with you there buddy, she's never let me down yet
16. Bump. Price dropped to £250, still open to trades. PM me for pics via email
17. Indeed, theres a great deal of musical talent in this town.. Its a shame not many people go to local gigs anymore though! I try to go to as many as I possibly can (not counting the gigs I do with my band, or filling in for other bands/groups) just to learn, meet people and see some great talents! All worth it the end really!
18. Laptop is officially dead, so can't upload pics until its fixed/replaced. More than happy to email pics via my phone for anyone interested however. Mark
19.
Very cool! Used to have one years ago and loved it. Don't be put off by the Korn connotations. It's a great bass in it's own right! Excellent Ibanez build quality, flexible pre and a nice slim (but not too much) neck. Truckstop
Definately agree with you there, its a lovely plank! Shame I don't have cash at the moment, got a serious case of GAS!!
20. Ahh she looks beautiful mate. If someone buys my Warwick, I'll be in touch. Until then, bump =)
21.
Pictures please
PM me your email address mate, and I'll send them over. Necks never been removed (as far as I know), the chip happened when it fell out of a stand a few months ago
22. Hi folks, I have a Warwick Fortress RockBass 5 string for sale/trade. Owned it for about a year, lovely bass but I'm looking to go back to a 6. Couple of small dinks to the body, and a very small chip out of the fretboard (under the G, approx 1cm from the nut) that doesnt affect playbility at all. Unable to upload pics at the moment (on my phone) But I can email pics to any serious buyers if interested, PM me your email. Looking for around £250 (which I think is fair? Haven't seen many going on here) or trade for a 6 string (Peavey/Yamaha possibly) Cheers Mark Edit - Have just been told its the older model with RockBass on the headstock, not the rebranded models with the W.
23. Very tempting, I have a Warwick Fortress Rockbass 5 to trade.. But I'm unable to get to you as I don't drive =(
24. No worries mate. That Schecter is a beauty, someone will be very happy with it =)
