    1978 Guild B-301 Bass -- SOLD

    Another of my much loved but unused Long scale basses!

    Lovely old Guild B-301 Bass Was originally white / cream ( still visible in control cavity ) but has been stripped ( A long while ago ) and now is natural with an oiled ( Tru Oil I believe ) finish that shows off the Stunning original one piece solid Mahogany body and neck in all its glory.

    It is all original as far as I can tell -- The CTS Volume pot is dated 2nd week of Jan 1978 and the Stackpole pot for Tone is dated November 1974 plus original Bumble Bee cap and Switchcraft jack.
    The pickup is original and sounds fantastic! Truss rod works easily and correctly. Serial no. Dates it to 77 or early 78.

    Still has plenty of life in the frets and is recently strung with a set of Lakland / GHS Flats - Plays really well and sounds fantastic!
    Comes with an old but serviceable hard case!

    Weighs a comfortable 4.1 kg.

    You are more than welcome to come over and try out this vintage tone monster for yourself! ( Very close to J46 of M1 )

    Just been over today to do a Part exchange with Ash! ------- Came away with his Lovely Squier JV Precision! +

    A real great and knowledgable Guy to deal with and he has an awesome collection of Basses, --- He really made me feel welcome and the long trip to sunny Lancaster very worthwhile!

    Levin Jazz Bass --One of the last of my long scale basses and one of my favourites! --Only selling as I am only comfortable with Short scale basses these days!

    It is in good condition with the expected marks from several years use, and comes with an old but serviceable Hard case.

    This is as good as many Fender Japan and Mexico basses -- The build quality is good and more importantly it plays and sounds great!
    I have installed a Fender Stacked pot control plate assembly for separate pickup Volume and Tone control.

    Solid Ash body in Candy apple red, Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard, Custom Levin Jazz pickups and really good quality Gotoh Japan machine heads
    Just been fitted with a new set of strings and you are welcome to come and try this beauty for yourself to see how good it is!

    Bargain at £150.00 cash and collect!
