1. Spent the last few years trying a vast assortment of Medium and short scales i.e.; Gibson Eb0, Eb2, Hofner verithin, Hagstrom Viking, DeArmond Starfire, Epiphone Rivoli, Landing L1, Ampeg Dan Armstrong, Fender Mustang, Fender Musicmaster, Yamaha Motion 32", Precision 32" plus a few others! My main go to and gigging bass these days is a red Squier Jaguar SS Modified ( Fender Original P-Bass pup and DiMarzio model J bridge pup, also Gotoh 203 bridge and Hipshot Ultralite tuners with a Drop D ) Had to do a bit of tidying on the fret ends, but it really is an amazing bass sound wise and to play and cheap, very light and comfortable too! - An accurate 3.25 kg including fitted mono strap! I have a second one now in Black that is same spec plus its fitted with my Roland GK-3B pickup to use with my Rolang GR-55 -- You are welcome to try it for size if you are ever in the area! Will.
2. I always fancied one of these!! -If only you were a bit closer to Leeds! Will.
3. Just sold Paul my Peavey T40 in a nice smooth and easy transaction! A real pleasure to do business with and a great guy too! Will.
4. Sold -- Gone to a good home.
5.
I've got one of these - stunning basses and the price is excellent for a vintage instrument of this quality - These are future classics have a bump on me
Agreed --They are terrific basses, extremely well built and very good value, great to use and also as an investment! Will.
6.
Hi would you post it - accept PayPal gift? Cheers
Hi Ash I have already had a couple of pms from members wanting me to post, but I would rather try for a local sale or possible meet up within a sensible distance! I will be down in Lincloln / Newark some time shortly, probably next week if that helps anyone ! Will.
7. 1978 USA made Peavey T-40 bass in natural, very good condition for age! just some cracking to neck pickup plastic surround. Has had pickup select switch replaced other than that I believe it is all original, frets are in excellent condition! Strung with Ti flats and comes with old but robust hard case! £360.00 Cash sale only --I don't ( can't ) play long scale anymore so unfortunately it has to go! Any trial welcome! ( in Leeds near M1 M62, and A1 ) Will. 9. Pete bought my MM Sterling in a nice and easy International transaction! Top class guy to deal with! .Would recommend very highly! Will.
10. Can you get it over to Leeds for a cash sale? Will.
11. My Geddy Lee Crafted in Japan -- This was my main gigging Bass until recently but I am struggling with long scale ( Struggling with short scale but its a little bit better )so selling most of my 34" scales. I bought this a few years ago from Sifi on the forum, he had stripped the body of the paint and stained the wood. I attempted to primer and spray it white but its not a very good job, although it looks reasonable! Simon had put black tuners on it, and managed to put a crack in the headstock that he had professionally repaired by a local luthier. It has never budged in all the time I have had it and I am certain it never will! Its got the stock pickups with brass backing plate and has CTS pots fitted + the Black Tuners and black control plate and Black BadAss 2 bridge. Also fitted with black schaller straplocs and I will include the strap fittings! And it has the awesome and fast Geddy neck --Truss rod works fine -- Possible trade for a Lightweight 4 x 10 cab ( 8 ohms only ) i.e; Markbass etc. or possibly a decent Bass Pre-Amp -- Trade value around £350.00 I dont have a case or gig bag for it so its either collect from Leeds or meet up locally. I would much prefer buyer to view and try it! It Plays great! 15.
Why dont these beauties hold their value. IMO mine plays better than a stingray with a uber fast neck and is far more comfy. These basses should be at least around the £800 + mark. Crime
Agreed! --They are superb basses and cost nearly 3 x my price new! http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/bass_guitars_detail.asp?stock=13010712152688&gclid=COb21a2wqbUCFWbKtAodC14AOg

17. Nice fretless neck that I had on my Squier fretless jazz. I am now using the body for another project! I dont know what brand it is but it was a very good fit on the Squier, and is real nice to play. As you can see it has Block Markers and the fingerboard is Epoxy coated rosewood and it is lined!! The truss rod works fine and it is complete with tuners! Its Sold! Will.
