SQ photos as promised No sunshine today tho. so a bit dull!-- Any photos of yours yet? I bought this from the Forum a few years ago ( from bigthumb ) and have only changed the original damaged scratchplate since. It has just had a new set of Fender 9050s Flatwounds fitted. As you can see the neckplate has the original owners name engraved in it!
Fender jazz HW1 with badass bridge, and black pick guard. Been loved and well used! Nitro finish has worn nicely and settled into the wood Not a sparkly new looking thing. I'll get loads of detailed photos up when I get home. (on holiday at the moment) Looking for sort of precision bass. Any age condition. Any colour, etc Not hugely keen on Mexican standards. Just a shout to see if anyone fancies it! Cheers Robert.
How about a swap for my SQ Japan Squier P-bass in Sunburst --Good condition! Will. -

Its a Kay Sound Fashion, from the Eighties I think -- They did a 30 watt guitar version and a 50 watt bass one but may also have done others! Probably not worth very much!
The OP has described his item perfectly and illustrated it with accurate pictures. I f I bought this I would be in no doubt as to what I was getting and I don't understand the semantics of 'ding' (sounds cute!), or blemish (genetic?). Good honest advert.
+1 -- And Maurice ( 73Jazz ) is very helpful and honest guy!
Wow guys am really excited. I have been after one of these for a couple of years and they seem to be a bit rare on BC. Won it on E-bay this morning, Have paid £410 but it was about what i was willing to pay. Cherry red nid 90s in great condition. Cant wait, but i will take it to Dave Wilson Guitars for a service though. As for Darkstars !!!!.. I will see how it sounds as stock as really i wasnt intending to gig it.. just makes it a bit easy to practice at home solo without plugging in. Any thoughts ?? regards Keith M
Wish I had known you wanted a Starfire -- I am just about to put my Sunburst one up for sale! If your ebay sale fall through let me know!
