1. Those quoted "serial no,s" are the Patent no,s and the Fender logo looks too close to the edge of the neck to me! Will.
 2. Take your 6 way extension out of the rack and keep it away from the amp and recievers! Its probably the adaptor transformers that are too close to your other gear. Will.
 3. Could be a good deal for somebody local! ( not mine by the way ) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HOHNER-THE-JACK-BASS...=item2c523239d0
 4.
I've got a set of lightly used (on fretless only, so no little dinks will have appeared). I can ask my 'secret' supplier about a new set on Monday if you like - they're smuggled in especially for me via Columbia hidden inside crates of heroin so as not to arouse suspicion.
-----Nice one Howard

 6.
My 62 reissue came with a period hardcase. That was in 2006, I don't know if they still do the case. This is an absolutely beauty. At this price I expect it will sell quite quickly. Shame about the case though.
Its still listed to include the Case, Vintage style Lead and Strap -- plus candy! I think all the current USA models except Highway,s include hard case. Will.
 7.
I picked this up from eBay for a project, but all projects are on-hold while I work over a Travis Bean. It transforms normal teles (or any guitar that uses the same scale length) into a true baritone with a 27.78" scale. I think it's the cheapest way to get a decent quality baritone. It's one of these: http://www.allparts.uk.com/online-shop/all...ele-p-2655.html It looks like it's only been very lightly-used. It comes without tuners or nut (although it has had both fitted at some point). Rosewood board. £60 posted to the UK.
PMed
 8.
Hey Will, Whereabouts in Leeds are you? I'd be interested in checking this one out. AJ
PMed Will.
 9.
so glad it's short scale, I wish they'd done a mustang long scale... Lake Placid Blue, filth. Best of luck.
They used to make a Fender Bullet bass that was like a larger Mustang! Will.

 12. 3rd of my short scales is a stunning Gibson SG Supreme bass 30.5" scale This was the very first of the Gibson guitar of the week series in 2007 from a limited edition run of only 400 Details near bottom of page here http://www.guitarfact.com/gibson-sg-reissue-bass I have replaced the bridge with the expensive and fully adjustable Hipshot upgrade bridge and as usual the strings fitted are Thomastik Ti Flats. I have gigged this bass so there are very minor marks on it! Comes with Gibson Hard Case. Looking for £850.00 for this rare beauty collected from Leeds. 14. Selling a few of my short scale basses as I have gone over to long scale! This is a Japan Reissue Mustang bass in Rare Lake Placid Blue. It is in almost unmarked condition apart from a buckle rash mark on the rear that I have tried to show in the photo. I had a custom Abalone scratchplate made for it by Martin Simms. I also made my own adjustable Mute/damper that will be included in the sale. ( this can easily be removed without marking the bass in any way as it uses the existing bridge screws ) It is currently strung with Thomastik Ti Flats and plays and sounds fantastic. It comes with a Warwick case ( That I bought new when I bought the Mustang ) Not looking for any trades as i currently have 16 Basses!
