Looks good (even with that join ) but I imagine the collection only severely limits the number of potential buyers.
Yes agreed, but I dont have a case for it and I have had a bad experience with a boxed and bubblewrapped bass before. Also I prefer any potential buyer to try it out First to ensure it suits them! Will.
I like it, but i have never heard the Lyte being played so i haven't a clue what it sounds like. maybe the join in the body is putting people off.
It sounds like a Typical P-bass but much more versatile with the bridge Jazz Pickup! The body join seems to be emphasised in the photos for some reason! Will.

Up for sale is my Special Lightweight ( 7lbs ) Its a Japan fender Lyte body that has had a replacement neck fitted ( not Fender ) The neck is Maple with Black block markers and Truss rod adjustment ( that works fine ) is at the Heel. It has a Fender Jazz Transfer but is more P-bass in profile. It is fitted with good quality Schaller Licensed Tuners There is a scratch/ file mark above the 3rd fret that I have tried to show in the photos! The original pickups are fitted but they have been wired Passive with new Alpha Pots and a Paper in oil Capacitor and it sounds great. The original active Electronics and wiring diagram will be included in the sale. The body has been stripped and finished with several coats of Tru-Oil and then Beeswax polished The bridge has been changed to a standard Fender type and it is currently strung with D,Addario EXL160s Strictly Collect as I dont have a case or gig bag for this Bass and I would like potential buyers to try it out First Will.
I know 2x18 was an early adopter, he had one sitting smugly in his rack when I went to buy his LH500. Maybe PM him?
Not very good --- My Rebelhead went back for repair 2 weeks ago, just died on me at home. Still waiting for news of when it will be repaired/ replaced Will.
That sounds good, my dad will be picking my sister up from leeds fest at the end of august, if it's not too much trouble for him and it's still around and you want to do the trade, then i'm sure that would be ok
Yes if I still have it we can sort something out nearer the time but a friend of our guitarist is supposed to be interested in it. ( not heard from him yet tho ) Will.
Hi i have an ashdown MAG 115 Deep in reasonably good condition, i'm looking to trade for another 210, i'm not too fussed about brand too much but another ashdown MAG would be nice so it matches my other MAG 210. Reason for the trade is i may be splitting my rig up, one cab at home, one at the practice studio and carry the head between, makes life easier (and cheaper). PM with your offers. I'm not interested in selling, trades only. Based in nottingham and i'm not posting.
I have an Ashdown Mag 210T cab. Its the earlier type made in the U.K. and fitted with the original ( and most people say better ) Celestion drivers. Its in gigged but tidy condition and sounds great. Problem is im in Leeds Will.
Ok. Thanks for that. What are the pickups like?
The pickups and active circuit are Duncan designed Its not your typical Jackson hard sound. Sound wise I would say its a good Jazz bass sound but much more versatile A very good warm sound but it can be made to sound very bright if you need to. Probably not ideal for slapping to be honest, but great for any other style and it cuts through the mix very well. You are welcome to come and try it out! Will.
