Hi Guys, Hi Mark Do you mean the domed dust cover in the centre of the speaker? If so that can be glued back carefully usually without affecting the performance of the speaker. If on the other hand it is the main cone, repairs are not usually very successful. I have a pair of nearly new Celestion 200watt 10" bass speakers if you need them, but I dont know how they would sound in your cab! If you are really stuck I can lend you a Peavey 410TVX cab ( 4 ohms ) But im in Leeds mate Regards Will. I think one of my 10' drivers is on it's way (centre is detatched from the paper cone) I need some advice on a possible repair..... (is it possible to glue it ? if so what type of glue) or advice needed on easily available replacement drivers that will match the cab and perform well I have a gig on saturday so time isn't on my side here The details of the cab can be found here it's the 210 non neo http://www.drbasscabs.com/ Thanks Guys Mark
We had a similar bad hum problem recently, the problem in our case was using different 13amp power sockets for linked gear! and was solved by using one 13amp power source for each linked set of equipment. Will.
I agree - sometimes when i'm playing with my setup at home, i get a little dissatisfied with the sound, but as soon as i'm practicing with the band, i remember exactly why i bought it in the first place Btw, those filters are extremely powerful, especially in a band environment - i have both at 9 o'clock, works great for me, but you may find different settings suit your setup better....
I found with my LM2 that for home practise you just dont get the tone at low volume unless you set the master at 12 o'clock and use the gain for volume control. For gigging I find I also prefer both filters at 9 or 10 o'clock, all other tones flat. Regards Will.
